A Little Lost

"NO YOU FREAK STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" Damon shouts at little Jonah who is sat on the floor reaching up to him. Jonah's lip quivers and he is slightly shaking from being screamed at.

"B-but daddy-" Jonah manages to stutter out.

"DADDY NOTHING YOU BETTER GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW! AND GOOD LUCK CAUSE NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU!" He screams in Jonah's face.

Jonah full on bursts into tears. He continues to uncontrollably sob while hugging his knees and wishing he was anywhere but there.

I quickly sits up gasping beginning to cry. Only to realize it was only a nightmare. It still felt very real and I turn over to my boyfriend's side of the bed only to find it empty.

I find myself only crying harder. I feel myself slipping but Itry to resist not knowing where my daddy is. Suddenly I hear a knock coming from our bedroom door and my head quickly snaps over to look.

I wearily ask who is at the door knowing its not my daddy since he usually wouldn't knock on his own door.

"It is Matilda may I come in?" I nod then quickly respond realising that she can't see me. She soon enters and her eyes soften at the sight of me.

"Oh mi amor come here." He sits beside me on the bed and opens her arms out, inviting me into a hug.

I quickly attach to her feeling comfortable around her and bask in her warm embrace. Eventually I calm down enough for her to talk to me.

"Mi vida are you little?" I nod not feeling completely little but definitely regressed some. She coddles me and speaks up.

"Mr. Black want me to let you know that there was an urgent work emergency that needed him and Adrian but they are okay. You can spend the day with me and I will take care of you. Would you like to call him."

I process what Matilda just said and enthusiastically nod after hearing her last comment. She pulls out her phone from her pocket and dials some numbers and hands her phone to me. I hold it up to my ear and it rings 3 times before there is a voice in the other end.

"Hey Matilda how is everything going?"

"Daddy it's me." I giggle a little at how my daddy thought I was Matilda.

"Hi baby boy how are you feeling?" He asks in a comforting way.

"I woke up with a bad dream and I cry but Matilda gave me a hug." I tell my daddy about my eventful morning.

"Aww my baby I'm so sorry I wasn't there. Something came up at work and uncle DD and I had to come in but I will for sure be back to tuck you into bed okay?"

"Okay." I say sadly knowing my daddy might not be back until bedtime.

"Baby please don't be sad I will try so be home as soon as possible and I know you and Matilda will have a blast." My daddy says trying to cheer me up. I smile realizing that he is right.

"Okay daddy! I love you!"

"I love you too baby but I got to go so have lots of fun for me nd uncle DD okay? Bye my love."

"Bye daddy." We hang up and I give the phone back to Matilda. She smiles and asks how old am I. I proudly answer her by holding up 6 fingers. She kisses my head and helps me find some clothes.

We go downstairs and play some games then Matilda suggests that we bake something which I loved because I love to help. Then we go to the park and have a small picnic. Matilda is such a good cook but not as good as my daddy.

We watch movies, play, color, and have tons of fun until bedtime. Matilda helps me find my pajamas and tells me to lay down but assures me that my daddy will be back soon.

I toss and turn and I almost go to find Matilda until I hear the door open and I turn and see my daddy standing there. I'm not sure my smile could get bigger. He quickly strips down into his boxers and climbs into bed and snuggles me.

"I missed you daddy" I whisper sleepily.

"I missed you more baby." I soon fall asleep very contempt in my daddy's arms.
