A Little Lost

"Hello?"

"Hey I was just checking to see if Jonah was alright he kinda left in a rush and I texted him but he never answered me back."

"Well you're a day late for checking and he is okay now." I say coldly.

"What do you mean was he hurt or something."

"I'm not sure if he would like me to share the details and no you cannot talk to him."

I know that Jonah had to be hurting badly if he wanted to leave so urgently and drink so much. I hate that he went through that but I am glad he has his little space to go and escape to. I no longer want to talk to Colin at the moment so I hang up so I don't have to listen to whatever bs excuse he comes up with.

"Goodbye." Colin caused all of this and if he had warned Jonah or even not invited his sister at all my baby wouldn't have been in the hospital. I lay down to rest while I know Jonah is asleep and safe and end up falling asleep myself.

I wake up to tiny and big pokes all over from my head to my torso.

"Excuse me I'm trying sleep here." I mumble into my pillow. I hear Jonah and Adrian giggling and can't help but smile at the sound. I locate JOnah based on where the tiny pokes are coming from and turn around quickly and attack him with tickles.

He giggles even harder and Adrian joins in to help me tickle him.

"D-daddy pw-ease s-s-stop!" Jonah manages to choke out while still laughing. I stop tickling him but Adrian continues, "DD pe-ase stop!" Adrian decides to get a little additional tickle in before finally stopping. Jonah lays in my lap catching his breath.

"Dada I hungwy." He says still slightly out of breath and climbing off of my lap closer to the middle of the bed. Adrian sits on the other side of the bed next to Jonah.

"Tell him where you told me you wanted to eat."

"Weo's pasceti!"

"Leo's spaghetti?" He nods. The first time that I took him to Leo's he fell in love. I think at one he rolled his eyes because the food was so good. Adrian and I both had a good laugh at it.

"Of course baby. Do you want to take a shower with me first?" He tilts his head, "Den after uncle DD comes wif us to Weo's?"

"Yes." I smile. Adrian leaves to his bathroom for his shower while Jonah and I head to ours. We get in and the whole time Jonah talks to me about how excited he is for Leo's and how he might try something different than spaghetti which is very unlikely. We get out and get dressed.

Leo's is a semi fancy sit down restaurant. I wear a lightweight white turtle neck, light blue jeans, and white sneakers. While Jonah wears a white t-shirt, denim jacket, black jeans, and white sneakers.

We leave the bedroom and Jonah goes to open Adrian's door but I stop him.

"Hey we don't just go in without permission we knock okay?" Jonah smiles knowingly and knocks on the door. I smile at his obedience

"Uncle DD are 'ou almost done?" Jonah shouts through the door.

"Yes I'll be there in a second. I'm just putting my shoes on okay?"

"Kay!"

I smile and walk with Jonah downstairs while we wait for Adrian. I had texted our driver before we showered so he is currently waiting. Adrian makes his way down and we head to Leo's.

"Lasagna?"

"No."

"Bolognese?"

"Nope!"
