The Young Justice found themselves in Litchfield County, right next to the site where the League had just fought the alleged Android. It was mostly just open country, which for (Y/N) kind of sucked since he couldn't really swing around. Though the League did lend him and the other members some awesome motorcycles for the time being which was pretty cool.
The six members who were donned in leather gear were inside a small grove tucked away and out of sight as a few of the League members were over in the clearing by several trucks, four of which were decoys, with two that actually contained the Android's parts. This was gonna be an escort mission, and for the Young Justice, all they could really do was wait for the signal.
Among them, Kid Flash and Spider-Man were pretty much just hanging around and eating their lunch together. Wally took bites from his sandwich as he conversed with his team member and friend. "Can I ask you a serious question?" He asked the other.
"Shoot." (Y/N) answered, half his mask rolled up his face as he took a bite from his own sandwich. Just like his teammates he wore a leather getup.
Wally switched his gaze from (Y/N) and over to the others. The other boy followed his eyes to see him staring at, of course, M'gann. "You think I have a shot with her?" The ginger wondered.
"Truthfully?" (Y/N) asked, looking back at Wally who nodded, eagerly waiting for his answer.
"No."
An irritated look appeared on Wally's face resulting in (Y/N) throwing his hands up defensively. "Hey, you were the one who asked."
After finishing their food, Batman spoke through the team's comms and told them to get ready. The six didn't wait around and immediately hopped onto their respective motorcycles. Batman, Superman, Green Arrow, and Flash, double-checked the trucks one last time. Seeing as they were ready, it was time to start the operation.
"STAR Boston is a go." The first truck driver said.
"STAR Manhattan is a go." The second followed.
Green Arrow turned to Batman and gave him a nod. The Dark Knight then signaled for the trucks to start moving. With that, the armored vehicles split off into groups in different directions on the highway. The Young Justice members did the same and split off after the trucks. Robin, Superboy, and Spider-Man followed the first group as Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Miss Martian followed the other.
The first group with Robin, Superboy, and Spider-Man seemed to be fine for the time being. The Highway was pretty much empty except for them. Noticing the silence, the Boy Wonder decided to make an icebreaker.
"If dislike is the opposite of like, is disaster the opposite of aster?" Robin asked the others in wonder. "See, instead of things going wrong, they go right."
"Now that you mention it..." Spider-Man pondered, Robin had brought up a good point. He never really thought about it. "...is it? I mean is aster even a word?"
"Dunno. I'm pretty sure there's a plant that's called an aster but that's about it." Robin shrugged, answering the other. Between the two was Superboy, who Robin had noticed being awfully quiet, more so than usual. "Clearly Superboy here isn't feeling the aster. What's wrong?" He asked the grumpy teen.
"Canary." Superboy responded much to (Y/N)'s surprise. "I mean, what business does she have teaching combat skills to a guy with super strength?"
Ah, so it seemed like he was still sour about what had transpired earlier.
"Taking down stronger guys is part of the gig." Robin stated. "Canary learned that the hard way. Same with Batman and, well, me." He finished, most of this coming from experience.
