Present day

They only stared dumbfounded at the bed. And a hush curse came out of his mouth. She could sleep on the carpeted ground. Of course it would be uncomfortable but in this state, he really needed the bed because he was injured. While she was shaking due to her body freezing. And she saw him walk around the room as if looking for something.

"What are you–"

Soo Ho put his finger in front of his mouth. Telling her not to say anything as he inspected the room. And she was surprised how his sharp eyes found a teeny tiny camera that was attached on the top of the fireplace in front of the bed. And one on top of the ceiling.

"Bastard!" He then destroyed the cameras. Then he quickly checked the bathroom and found another one attached in the shower then he threw it out from the window.

She was surprised to find a camera there. Would that mean that this is a shady motel who invades the guest's privacy doing God knows what? The realization hit her as she remembered the pervert look on that receptionist's face. And she was relieved that she shared a room with him who actually found the camera. Had they booked two rooms and she stayed alone there, she would never know that she was being recorded and became those perverts' lewd object to fulfill their obscene desire.

"Why did you choose this inn to begin with?" She asked, her teeth gritted as she was freezing cold.

"It was the closest and the only place to stay on this road. The next motel is located 13 kilometers away from here, I don't think you and I can walk that far at this stage. And I want a real bed tonight. Not a hard ground."

True, after the chase yesterday and him being shot. She didn't think that he could bear more kilometres to walk with that weight on his shoulder. She tried to call the front desk to ask if there was any extra bed for him. But unfortunately, they had none. When she opened her bag, all of her clothing was drenched as well as Soo Ho's.

After making sure that there were no cameras or bugs. He walked to light up the fire in the fireplace. And there was no heater except for the fireplace. So they sprawled all of their clothes in their bag to dry it by the heat of fire. Without warning, he took off his shirt. Showing his glorious abs beneath, then his hand reached to his zipper to take off his wet jeans. Standing tall in his boxer that hugged his figure perfectly, showing a hard evidence that he was indeed a man by the big bulge that peeked through his boxers.

And she was still shivering due to the drenched clothes that she wore. And the sight of him almost naked there made her quiver even more. He watched how trembled her hands were while she was trying to take off her jeans. He took a step forward and quickly pushed her hands away as he helped her. He was crouching down to pull her jeans down to her knee but he didn't expect the view of lace beige undies coming to greet him right in front of his face. He accidentally took a sharp inhale of breath and looked away quickly, burying his desire down to the abyss. Then he stood up and helped her out of her sweater and left her in the same colored lace bra.

And she stood there looking almost naked in that set of underwear that matched her skin colour. What kind of torturous hell that he must endure right now? Just by looking at her, he could remember clearly how soft her skin was. How her luscious lips kissed him fiercely. How her warmth centre grinds against his bulging desire when they were making out in the basement. He could see the redness that began to spread on her cheeks as she shyly looked away from his gaze. He knew that it was rude to stare, hence he was glad he could control his desire and turn away from her and reach for the blanket then drape it on him as he sat on the floor facing the fireplace.

He saw her still standing there with arms wrapped around her body.

"Come here." He opened his arm and motioned her to come sit next to him. And she obliged.
