Present day
"THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?"
"LEE GANG MU YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!"
"LET ME GO YOU BASTARD!"
Bunch of swear words wouldn't stop coming from his mouth as Soo Ho was struggling to free himself when his subordinate, Gyeok Chan was trying to kick the back of his knees. But all those struggles went to waste when Gyeok Chan shoved him to bend him over the floor. He recognized a lot of familiar faces. His teammates Gang Mu, Gyeok Chan, and Eung Cheol. But then, he also noticed that several of Kim Sang Beom's staff were stationed in the JBC tower as well.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say and do can be used against you in the court of law."
"You got the wrong man, assholes!" Soo Ho shouted as Gyeok Chan held him to the ground and Eung Cheol proceeded to cuff his hands.
He kept struggling to free himself as Gang Mu was reading his right. When it felt like he wasn't writhe anymore, they brought him to the prisoner car. The car ride to the ANSP was tense. There was no sound except the loud siren jarring all over the car. He was seated at the backseat in between Gyeok Chan and Eung Cheol, where both agents tightened their grips around his arms. Gang Mu was at the shotgun next to Sang Beom's staff, his sharp eyes won't stop staring at him from the rearview mirror. The car finally got on the quiet road, where it was the only fastest route to go to the ANSP. All of the sudden, Gyeok Chan reverted his gaze and blink to Gang Mu through the rearview mirror, and he saw how Gang Mu firmly nodded without being noticed by Sang Beom's staff who was driving the car.
He observed the exchange of code in silence as he was confused at what they were planning by that, and he wouldn't believe what they did next. He watched how Gyeok Chan lost his grip on him and how both of his hands removed the tie on his shirt and tied both ends on his hands making that tie look like a firm rope. And suddenly, without warning he throttled the driver's neck from behind and he gasped in surprise. And the car was moving recklessly as he watched Gang Mu continuously jab the driver's chest with his elbow making him choke hard. When oxygen began to leave the driver's system and his grip on the steering wheel was starting to lose, Gang Mu immediately put his hand on the steering wheel and replaced him.
"What the hell's going on now?! Let me go! I need to save Young Ro!" Soo Ho being the only clueless one exclaimed, didn't understand the whole situation.
"Sshh! Shut up, not now." Eung Cheol silenced him.
He felt Eung Cheol let go his grip on him, then rummaged his backpack on the ground and took his laptop out of it. Gang Mu stopped the car at the roadside near the forest, and Gyeok Chan helped him to dispose the driver's unconscious body there. And when they were done, the two sat together at the front and Eung Cheol was typing something on his laptop.
"I just deleted all the security footage from that building and this road. You're welcome." He said, then he put his laptop back in his bag. Then he grabbed the key to uncuff Soo Ho from the handcuff.
"What the hell?! Did you actually need to pull that stunt on me?!" Asked Soo Ho as he was confused by their behaviour.
"That's called acting. We need to be more convincing to earn Sang Beom's trust." Gang Mu answered him.
"How did you know that I was going to JBC?"
"Let me tell you things you've been missing out on. The election is getting near, and since Sang Beom is replacing Mr. Ahn now, he convinced Oh Woo Seok that ANSP will fully back him up. So many undercover agents were posted in many news outlets to prevent any rumour that makes him lose the election. And he miraculously posted us in the JBC. After the attack at the motel, I know deep down that you'll come back and prolly look for Gal Sang Sik here. So, we never leave this tower in case you decide to come."
