Quiet, boring, uninteresting, and weird.
All words that are used to describe someone brave enough to step foot into the life of extroverts and dare to not match their energy.
There's a lot to deal with when walking amongst a predominantly extroverted world. Either join in the obnoxious chatter and laughter or sit back and enjoy it- or not.
Observant, smart, shy, and reticent.
Amidst the hoard of auditory madness is a select few of silent ones, sat calm and noiseless, some, however dare to make conversation with others.
However, the blonde chooses not to, eyes observing every little detail as if he's a prey searching for any signs of a nearby predator. No words are heard from him unless spoken to, mind occupied with his own thoughts whether that be of someone else or something to be kept to himself, occupied with work if needed.
It's almost like he's not there, a fly on the wall that's gone forgotten, stuck in a fly trap that's not going to be saved anytime soon, not one eye batting towards his direction. The side conversations are said for him to hear, loud and obnoxious, secrets being spilled that he shouldn't have the ability to find out but he does, no one cares if he's around, it's not like he'll dare to speak of it to anyone.
His eyes find way to the classrooms entrance, gaze finding way to the new kid, Colby, entering with a loud laugh, dimples on display as he expresses his joy further, head turned to his friend that walks next to him.
It's been just over a week and he's blended in perfectly, almost as if he's been here for years. Colby couldn't be anymore happier than he is to have found such good friends upon his first arrival, he can't lie and say the obnoxious chatter of the classroom didn't taunt him at least a little bit.
However, he can't say he has everything figured out, yes, he's got down his schedule and the confusing change in the order of things twice a week regarding the block days and he's obtained a friend his first attended class, fitting in with his friend group well. He just doesn't yet know the way of the students, he's clueless to each group and everyone is still an unfamiliar face, names going forgotten even after having class with them.
He's left with judgemental thoughts and growing curiosity of a select few. A small handful of students being pointed out by his friends with a brief explanation, telling him embarrassing shit that happened in the past or the fucked things they attempted, whether it be personal or rumors that floated around the crowded halls- he's being filled in.
"Him, over there," his friend, Jake, points, eyes landing to the left side of the classroom, following the invisible line that traces his finger to the blonde sat in a seat, an empty chair next to him calling out silent pleas to be filled.
"Is Samuel, or, Sam" Colby nods once, mind making the connection of him being the boy he was going to sit with rather than where he is now with Jake.
"He's.. normal" he lets out "he doesn't really talk to anyone, only speaks when spoken to. He's boring, be glad you didn't get caught sitting next to him, no one really likes him- no reason honestly. I'm sure he's a great kid but.. he seems very boring."
Colby nods with his words "he seems nice though," he comments, head turning back over to him "does he not have any friends?" the comment brings an amused chuckle from the other, head nodding in agreement of his words "just one, her names Devyn. She's dating Corey, but I wouldn't say they're best friends. Casual friends, though, they do hang out outside of school but not much. I've heard he's very different from what he seems in here but I doubt it, Devyn tends to be more positive about things to not hurt their feelings so" he shrugs gently.
Colbys lips turn into a downward arch, brows furrowed as he turns his head to the latter again taking notice to how he stays motionless, head straight as he strains his eyes forward as he waits for class to officially start. Jake gently nudges him "don't bother with him, it's useless. If he wanted friends he would attempt to do so himself. Besides, I've been around him with Devyn and he's still quiet and boring, nothing's interesting with him. He's always uninterested in everything, trust me. It's no use trying to do anything about it."
