When you die you either go to Heaven or Hell, there's no medium place for you to live out eternity in utter mediocrity. But, what if you did everything right, and yet you still got sent to Hell?
"Checkmate." Roxy said as she moved her knight into the checkmate, "Good game Rox. A bet's a bet and I'm a man of my word." I said as I got up to get her a beer, "So we gonna talk about it?" she asked as I opened the cooler, "About what?" I asked, "About why you ran out after meeting Mika." she said, "You know why. Mama told me that you knew how I felt." I said, "Yeah, I knew." She said, "Roxy I love you, but I know that you'll never love me." I said, "I do, honey, God I do. Just hot how you want me to." she said as I brought her the beer and she pulled me onto her lap, "I love you like a little brother at worst and as my kid at best." she said, "Roxy, are you gonna leave? Go back to Greed and live with Mika?" I asked, "No, I'm not leaving, but I am going to live with Mika. She's coming to live here as your dad's secretary or something. Your mom was pretty vague when we made the deal." she said, "Yay." I said sarcastically, "Hey, she wanted to meet you and I had this whole elaborate scheme cooked up. Lunch at Lilith's favorite restaurant where you two would meet and get to know one another, then we'd spend the day at LuLu World where you'd bond, and eventually for every nightmare, every time you wet the bed, or when you just didn't wanna sleep alone you'd come to us." she said, "But that's what parents are for." I said, "Yeah, and Lilith pushed you off on me from day one. She might be your mom, but she's not the one raising you, I am." she said.
Roxy POV
"You and my son seem to be doing better. What did you do to make that happen? Did you let him feel you up? No judgment, heaven knows it works on his father." Lilith said, "I told him my plan, and then pointed out that while you adopted him, you're not the one raising him, I am." I said as I took a sip of my whiskey, "And that worked?" she asked, "Yep, he's a smart kid, a little weird at times, but he's got a good heart." I said, "He loves his mom, he loves his family, and I showed him that his family has secrets and lives that don't involve him and it broke his heart. Took something equally shocking to fix the damage. Repair by breaking. Weird concept, but it worked." I said as I looked up at my boss and saw her crying, "L-Lilith, I'm sorry." I said, "You're right, I've failed as a mother twice now. I hoped that with (y/n) I'd be able to groom him into the perfect heir, but now I see that I've barely given him the time of day. I stopped teaching him magic so that he could spend more time with you." she said as I handed her a tissue to dry her eyes, "Lil, I went through the same thing. After you saved me, I fell for you hard. I was head over heels, but Charlie took all of your time, I felt that you didn't care about me, but I loved you. So when you spent time with me it was the greatest moment of my life." I said, "What are you saying?" she asked, "Take (y/n) on a trip. It'll be good for you two and it'll give Mika time to get used to living here and essentially being a stepmom." I said, "Roxy, I know that it goes without saying, but should anything happen to me, I want you to take (y/n)." she said, "I thought that too, but didn't wanna assume." I said.
(y/n) POV
"(y/n) pack your bags, we are going on a trip." Mama said, "A trip? Where are we going? Greed, Sloth, Envy, Gluttony? Wrath? Lust?" I asked, "None of those. We are going to the human world, more precisely a beach house in 1979." she said, "How?" I asked, "You let me worry about that, my love. And before we go, I need to thank Roxy she's the one who gave me the idea for this trip after all." she said sweetly.
Mama said her goodbyes to Lucifer and Roxy before we went through the portal Mama made.
"It's absolutely lovely out here. Oh best put our human disguises on. Come here darling I'll grant you your first disguise" Mama said as I transformed into a human, suddenly Mama began a Sailor Moon transformation sequence and took her human form.

"This won't do, we're at the beach, not a ball." she said as she snapped and her outfit became a studded black bikini. "Now we have a month of fun ahead of us, so where do we begin?" she said.
Lilith POV
"Now we have a month of fun ahead of us, so where do we begin?" I asked, "By finding some money." I said as I opened the Grimoire and created a shovel and started digging, "What are you doing my darling?" Mama asked, "Looking for treasure." I said, "I could summon some and hide it for you if you'd like, but we don't really need money." I said, "Hey I found a cool sword!" he said, "A sword?" I said as he handed me the blade.

"An angelic blade with an Asmodean Crystal?" I said, "An intriguing find sweetheart, I am so proud of you." I said as I created a sheath for the weapon, "I'll put this away and then I'll make us lunch. How hard can sandwiches be?" I said as I went into the house.
"Mama." (y/n) said, "Yes darling?" I said, "This sandwich tastes like dog shit." he said, "I know, I'll figure out this cooking thing." I said.
