Harriet and I decided to search the cliff and beach first. As we walked in silence, Harriet said,
"It's my fault. None of this would've happened if I was stronger."
I stopped walking and turned to my friend.
"It's not your fault. It's Jack's fault. That son of a bi-"
Harriet put a hand on my shoulder. I calmed down and we continued walking.
We finally arrived at the cliff and except for a few gross couples, no one was there. We headed down to the beach and nothing. We were walking towards the Copper's building when I heard Harriet sigh.
"What's up?"
"Nothing... I'm just really worried."
"Don't be. Even if we don't find him, someone will."
"What if we're too late? What if something happens to him? I couldn't live with myself if-"
"Stop. Stop right there. Nothing will happen to Minho."
"How are you so sure of yourself?"
"I'm not... But I have to be."
In silence we continued searching, looking for our friend. Not knowing that we were running out of time.
