As I walked around the last building, my eyes met with Sonya.
"He's not here Newt." Sonya said, disappointed.
"I know, but we'll find him. I'm sure of it." I gave her a reassuring smile. She nodded.
I looked down and checked my watch. We had 20 minutes left until our 2 hours were up and we were supposed to meet up with the others. I looked again at Sonya and she was looking off in the distance, towards the Mess Hall. I smiled and shook my head.
"Hungry?" I asked.
Sonya flushed, "Yeah, how'd you know?"
I grinned, "I know you, okay? C'mon let's grab a bite to eat. It'll give us the energy to do double check the buildings." Sonya nodded in agreement and we made our way towards the Cafeteria.
