A heartless contract/Chapter 16

He walked through Narukami Island, looking for the Raiden Shogun. As soon as he found her, he bowed before her with pride.
"My Raiden, I need a contract..."

He just looked at the Raiden, not being able to think about anything else except the fact that he wanted to be alone and to be just like he once was before. He didn't want to care about anyone ever again.
"I want to be a puppet once again! I want to stop having emotions, I want to stop feeling things for people..."

"Oh, you do so?" Raiden was surprised, she didn't even expect Scaramouche to talk to her even again, and the fact that he wanted to be a puppet with no feelings again, surprised her.
"If that's what you want, I'll give it to you. But like that, you need to enter a domain with me for the change to happen."

His entire face lighted up in excitement. Finally, he would be completely cold and apathetic again.
"Yes! I want to be cold and without feelings again..."
He couldn't stop his desire and looked so pleased by what the Raiden Shogun just said. He was so close to finally become a puppet again and he had no doubt about it.
Without even asking what the domain was about, he just entered as soon as possible.

"I'll take you to the domain." Raiden went and entered the domain with Scaramouche, they joined a small room, there were lots of machines, lots of things to make Scara's personality turn back to a cold hearted one who didn't care for anyone or anything.

He couldn't stop making a happy face, he was excited to finally be done with this once and for all. This was what he wanted, no one was going to break his heart ever again, no one was going to make him suffer again. From now on he would only care for himself, and nothing else.
"Let's start then... I'll finally be myself..."
In this moment of pure excitement, he forgot about everything else except the possibility of not caring for anyone ever again.

"Well, are you ready? Do you really want this?"

"I've never been more sure of anything in my life!"
He was happy to finally get what he really wanted. He finally was able to admit he wanted to be himself again and he wasn't ashamed of it.
"Just do it..."
He wanted to do this right now, nothing was going to stop him now, he was going to be completely free from emotions once again.

Raiden bound Scaramouche's arms in metal ropes, tied his legs to the ground with more metallic material, while she prepared some tools to disassemble Scaramouche's circuitry, to make him feel the same as the time he was created, heartless, cold, arrogant, rude...

"I just want to be myself..."
He didn't even fight back, the moment he knew he would be able to finally be heartless and cold, he wasn't able to think about anything else but that.
He wanted to feel the pleasure of not wanting or needing anyone or anything anymore, he wanted to stop caring about anything at all.
"Do whatever you need to... just..."
He was so close, so close to finally be himself after so long.

Raiden puts a liquid on Scaramouche that put him in a coma, then went after Scaramouche, unscrewing him with a special tool. While she was doing that, she came to prepare the necessary materials for Scaramouche to go back to how he was before. She took out the old machines Scaramouche had inside him, and put new ones in, that would make him cold, arrogant, and make him only care about himself. After that, she went back to rebuild Scaramouche's back. Raiden went forward, and unscrewed his chest, taking out the heart of ashes he had and putting a new one, which would make him run out of emotions, when the process was over, she returned to rebuild Scaramouche. After all that, Scaramouche didn't know that Raiden has changed Scaramouche's personality, he was in a coma while all this was happening, then, eventually, Scara wakes up confused, and Raiden asks:
"How are you feeling?"
