Confronting my mother/Chapter 32

He was surprised by Kazuha's sudden action of locking the door, he was starting to wonder what he meant by that, but he didn't have the courage to ask or say "no".
"Kazuha, you can trust me, but..."
That word alone, "relationship" was very serious, he didn't want to commit something he would regret.
"I'm not sure this is the right thing to do. I'm... I'm not looking to date you, Kazuha. I just..."
He was sounding nervous now.

"Scara... it's just one kiss it won't harm anyone.."

Scaramouche was blushing with Kazuha's words, it made him very nervous, he was starting to get very uncomfortable.
"Kazuha, please... don't do this. I don't like these games you're playing."
He was sounding serious, but he was also feeling very nervous and tense now, he didn't like the direction this was going at all.
"Don't do this, Kazuha. I'm not in a condition where I can make the wrong decisions and I... I just don't think this is a good idea."

"I'm not playing any games...come on, no one is here, we won't be dating it's only a kiss...Scara."

He was blushing even more at Kazuha's words, he didn't think Kazuha would be this forward. This situation was making him more uncomfortable by the minute, he knew he would have to tell Kazuha something he didn't want to.
"Kazuha... I..."
He was stopping for a moment, he knew he was going to feel guilty.
"I'm not going to kiss you, Kazuha, okay?"
This decision hurted him a lot, but he couldn't make a bad decision because of his own desires.

"Then why are you blushing...?"

The question hurted Scaramouche, he was starting to sound upset, he was blushing because he was hurt right now and he wanted to make sure Kazuha knew what he was feeling.
"I'm blushing because this situation makes me nervous, I don't know what to say or do in this moment."
He was starting to sound annoyed, he was even more uncomfortable right now.
"You're making a scene out of this..."
He was starting to sound angry now, he didn't like what was happening when everything was going well before.

Kazuha took the elastic band out of his hair and let his hair down. "Alright." He took a box of decorations and open the door. "I'll go decorate the festival, it's almost midnight and tomorrow it should start."

He was feeling even more upset now, he was feeling disappointed that Kazuha wanted to end everything just like that. He felt the need to say something that could make him change his mind.
"Wait... no, Kazuha! Don't just leave me like this!"
He was sounding worried now, he started to feel like he was making a big mistake and he was scared that Kazuha would never see him again. He even started to think maybe he should've just kissed him to see how this new and mysterious relationship could work.

"Relax, I'm not going to leave you, silly. I just need to decorate the festival." Kazuha smiled.

He was feeling better after hearing Kazuha's reply, he was feeling more calm and he wanted to make sure everything would be okay with Kazuha before leaving.
"Good, I was worried."
He was sounding even more relaxed now, he wanted to keep this good atmosphere they had before the awkward moment.
"I will stay here, if you need any help feel free to call me okay?"
He was sounding friendly now and he was starting to think maybe this relationship with Kazuha could be a good thing after all.

"Yeah, sure." Kazuha left.

He was alone now and he was feeling very conflicted by his own feelings. He was happy that Kazuha didn't leave, but he was starting to think again about that "kiss" Kazuha was offering to him.
"What if... I could've kissed Kazuha? Would I have liked it?"
He was alone now, he could finally ponder and think what was the best decision. He needed to forget about "what if's" and focus on the future they could have right now.
