Scaramouche, meanwhile, was also in Inazuma. He had no idea what was going on in Sumeru between Kazuha, Yoimiya and Nahida.
He was just minding his own business and taking his usually daily walk in the city.
Then, he heard a familiar voice, it was Kazuha.
"What is it?"
He looked at Kazuha with a tired and bored expression, he already guessed that he wanted to speak to him about something.
"What do you want now?"
He spoke with his usual, cold tone.

Kazuha grabbed Scara's arm and went running to Scara's room, he entered the room with him.
"Scara, I need to tell you this in private, I'm serious." Kazuha had a very serious expression and voice.

His expression changed slightly, he got annoyed that Kazuha had suddenly grabbed him.
"Why do you need to speak with me in private? What's so important?"
He continued to show a cold tone.
"Just tell me now, I'm not in the mood for talking in private."
He thought that Kazuha was overreacting, why did he need to speak with him in private? He was already getting annoyed by this whole situation.

"Why did you steal the Dendro Gnosis?! Sumeru city is destroyed!"

His reaction was instant and unpredictable, he had never expected to be questioned like that.
"What? How do you know that information? No one was supposed to know that!"
He was very surprised by what Kazuha said and he turned red.
Then, he looked at him, angry that he had known his secret. He turned his face away.
He wanted to change the topic quickly, why was Kazuha so insistent for him to speak about this in private anyway.
"I don't care about what happened in Sumeru! Now leave me alone!"

Kazuha held Scara's hand not letting him go anywhere. "I went to Sumeru city, and it was completely arruined, Nahida told me what happened...Scara, why?"

There was something about Kazuha grabbing his hand that made him feel a little uncomfortable.
"I don't need to tell you why."
He spoke coldly and firmly.
"And stop holding my hand!"
He tried to make Kazuha let go of his hand.
"Nahida told you? That brat, how could she know?"
He was surprised and worried, he wondered how the Dendro Archon could have guessed that he was the one who had stolen the Gnosis.

"Serious, Scara?! You took it from her when she fainted, she told me that!"

"There's no point in discussing this."
He said in a dismissive tone, annoyed at Kazuha's questions and attempts at making him talk.
"Besides, why do you care so much about Sumeru?"
He turned his face away again.
"That city has nothing to do with you... you're just a tourist."
He added the last part with a slightly sarcastic tone, he wanted to make fun of Kazuha since he thought that he shouldn't be so curious about what happened in Sumeru.

"Scara...this is not funny, I'm not joking, you know more than anyone else that I care for people. I'm sorry for saying this but you destroyed their lives! Why have you done that to Sumeru?"

"I don't care about those people, they're worthless worms."
He said it with a harsh tone, he didn't feel any regret for what he had done. If he could, he would do it again.
The only thing he regretted was being caught in the act.
He was getting impatient, he wanted to get rid of Kazuha as soon as he could, he had no patience to hear Kazuha's complaints.

"Why? What did they do to you?"
Kazuha wanted to know, he wasn't really understanding why Scara did all that. He knew that Scaramouche didn't care for people, but not at this point.
