Alternate story to Fairytale and Daddy's Girl
An alternative universe where Elvis Presley is living a carefree life style with nothing holding him down until he finds out that he has a daughter and tries to balance his busy schedule with dad duties...
There was the usual coming and going if people at the mansion but less hectic than normal which no one complained about, Elvis and Julia were relaxing on a white bench in the front yard, talking and enjoying the weather since the humidity wasn't too bad as of yet. She smiled at the man sitting next to her as he serenaded his lover
"For I'm just, a puppet on a string. You can do almost anything with me." Elvis trailed off as he inched closer to Julia, locking lips with her. It was safe to say they had rekindled their relationship and fallen head over heels in love
Julia parted from the kiss and cupped his face in her hands, staring into his caring ocean eyes. "I'm sorry for all the trouble I've given you. And I'm sorry for abandoning Olivia like I did when she was born. That wasn't fair to either of you..." She kissed the tip of his nose and took a minute to rummage through her purse that was sitting in between them, taking out a photo and giving it to Elvis. It was a picture of Elvis holding Olivia when she was 3 months old. "I got this from a friend who just so happened to take this picture." She smiled

"I remember this day. She was crying so I pulled the car over and held her, she calmed down instantly and before I knew it I was flocked by fans." Elvis stared at the photograph as the memory flooded back to him
It was eight thirty at night on a warm day in August, Elvis driving his white Lincoln to the Memphian Theater downtown to meet up with the guys to watch a film after getting a haircut at the barbershop and Mario Lanza playing over the radio during the drive. He was almost at the theater when he heard Olivia's cries from below, glancing down at his baby girl who was squirming in her dads free arm
"Hold on, honey. I hear you." He cooed to her, pulling the car over to a nearby curb
After putting the car in park, he lifted the infant up which had Olivia relax the minute she had the man's full attention, gurgling softly as she stared up at the twenty six year old. Those small blue eyes mirrored that of her daddy's, full of complete innocence and wonder
"You little stinker, you just wanted your daddy." He laughed, kissing her chubby cheeks
The baby giggled at her father's affection and kicked her feet out of excitement though she settled down at hearing someone shout, 'Elvis!' Within a matter of seconds, fans swarmed Elvis' car and had him surrounded as they took pictures and waved items around in their hands for him to sign and fawning over the man tending to his child who was becoming a bit overwhelmed by the crowd
"I'm sorry ladies, I have somewhere to be. I have to take a rain check." Elvis apologized to his fans, feeling awful that he couldn't stay to sign autographs and mingle, the infant squirming impatiently
He held Olivia with one hand and drove his car with the other after the flock of fan girls had moved away from the vehicle to let him go. He glanced down at the baby who snuggled up to her dad as she let out a yawn
