The light from the window burned through my eyelids and I turned my head, opening my eyes to find I was moved lower on the bed with blankets over me. Axel was gone and I frowned, then spotting a piece of paper on the pillow next to mine.
I reached over and picked it up, blinking to clear my vision and to give my eyes time to adjust before I was actually able to read it.
I'll be back soon. Until then, Blaine will be in the other room ready and willing to assist you if you need anything. Do whatever you wish <3
A smile found my lips at the heart and I sat up, unsure of what to do while I waited, that was until my gaze landed on the bathroom door.
I should get another shower, but what if he thinks I'm too greedy after already having one this month?
No, he wouldn't... would he?
Swallowing roughly, I decided to stand up and get a better look at the objects on the dresser. I grabbed the brush and the toothbrush, leaving everything else and heading into the bathroom.
I want to look pretty when he gets back.
I set down the objects and turned to the tub, vaguely remembering to turn the knobs until the water came out warm. That's when I looked around me feeling paranoid before taking off the shirt and stepping in.
I closed the translucent glass door and pulled the nozzle between the hot and cold in curiosity, jumping back with a loud gasp when the water stopped coming out of the faucet and came from above me, landing on my back. My still healing ankle cracked under the extreme pressure and I crashed to the floor, wincing in pain.
"Luna!" The door burst open and I widened my eyes, sliding the glass open a crack to see Blaine frozen in his place seemingly horrified, "agh, dammit, of course you're naked—are you okay?" He squeaked, covering his eyes and I suddenly began to laugh at my stupidity.
"Blaine! Hello? Alpha Axel said you were here with the Luna!" A woman called from the other room and I stiffened, my laughter ending abruptly. I watched her walk in the bathroom with a startled shriek.
"Oh my god, babe! Let her shower, you fucking creep!" She grabbed his arm and yanked him out of the room, closing the door behind them as I closed the glass door with a frown, still hearing her muffled yells, "god, if I didn't know any better I'd say you're cheating on me! Does Axel know you keep that close of an eye on her?"
Her yells faded out the further they went and I hoisted myself up, my body shaking subconsciously at the loud tone of her voice. She wasn't yelling at me, but I continue to react like she is, even when I know she's not.
Will I ever heal?
I don't want to live the rest of my life like this...
I picked up one of the soaps and smelt it, feeling myself calm down with Axel's scent filling my sinuses.
I miss him already.
Putting a small drop of it on my palm, I lathered it over my entire body, frowning at the short blonde hairs coating my leg. Maybe if I groomed myself I'd feel better, my problem is that I don't know how.
Why doesn't my mother love me?
Why couldn't she have taught me the things a mother is supposed to teach?
Why'd she make me this way?
Why do I deserve this?
I blinked away tears and washed my hair, ensuring every area on me was cleansed the way Axel did my hair before rinsing off and stepping out. My eyes landed on the cupboard where he had gotten the towel last time and I opened it, grabbing one of the many black towels and drying myself off.
