👩🏻🚒😈: Get your ass out of bed, Diaz.

Eds: I'm up, Bosko. Just dropped Chris off at school.

👩🏻🚒😈: Not you. The other Diaz.

Ev: I'm recuperating. Let me rest.

👩🏻🚒😈: Is that code for you and Eddie banging the balls off each other last night?

Ev: I don't kiss and tell.

👩🏻🚒😈: What if I said I had Starbucks and breakfast from Milos?

Ev: Eds, sorry, this thing between us is over. I've met someone else.

Eds: Sorry, that only works before my name is tattooed on your body.

Ev: Damn, looks like I'm going back to bed.

Eds: I may have to come join you then.

👩🏻🚒😈: Boys, you two can get sweaty together after the three of us get sweaty together.

Ev: That sounds kinda hot, actually.

Eds: I don't share Bosko.

👩🏻🚒😈: See you guys in 20?

Eds: Sounds good!

Ev: ffffffiiiiinnnnneeeee!!!

"Boys? Are you decent?" Lena yells from the door leading into the Diaz backyard.

"You're good, Bosko." Buck yells back.

Bosko opens the gate and makes her way across the yard to the picnic table where Buck is sitting. She is dressed in tight black leggings, a loose-fitting hoodie, and running sneakers, with her hair tied back. She dropped the tray of coffees and bag of food on the table.

Buck is standing up and stretching. He picks the brace up and loops it around his right bicep. Bosko steps up to him and helps him secure it.

"This good or too tight?" She asks.

"A little tighter would be good, actually." Buck answers, and she tightens it a little more, waiting for him to give her the ok. Once it's secured on his arm, she sits at the table and opens the bag for him. She tosses him a wrapped breakfast sandwich, and they sit down at the table together.

"So, any movement on selling the loft?" Bosko asks.

"Yeah, the new owners close at the end of the month. They made a cash offer; I just wanted it gone." Buck answers.

Bosko nods at him as she puts hot sauce on her sandwich. "How about the house hunt?"

"We have a few appointments this week with the realtor. She has a few she really wants us to see. Two are going on the market this week; we will be the first one's seeing them."

"What about this place?"

"Once we find something we like, and our offer is accepted, we can list this house to sell it. Abuela and Pepa are making noises about buying it from him. He's conflicted selling it to them."

"It's already in Eddie's name, isn't it?"

"Yeah, he wants them to just move in and take over the payments. They want to buy it from him so we can use the money for our house."

"If they were anything like Eddie, they would be too proud for that. They would see it as charity."

"Yeah, that's how they are talking about it. I talked to them last night. If he sells it to them, they are eventually going to leave it to him anyway, so why even go through the motions."
