Chapter 32 All That Matters

Eddie stands in front of the mirror on his closet door in their bedroom in the navy-blue pants to his suit, with a tight white A-shirt and dress shoes on. Buck leans in from behind him and places his St. Christoper's medal around Eddie's neck.

Eddie steps to the side, and Buck steps to fix his gray suit pants, also still in just a tight white A-shirt and pants. Neither of them wanted to put their button-downs on to take them off for Dani to work her magic on their hickeys. Eddie helps Buck put his medal on. They then grab their dress shirts, ties, and jackets and head downstairs.

They find Cole and Wes already dressed and ready to roll in the living room, waiting for them. Cole is dressed in a nice olive-green suit, a black button-down dress shirt, a thin matching green tie, and black dress shoes. The green looks great next to his tanned skin. Wes is dressed in a nicely cut black suit, a dress shirt that matches the green of Cole's suit, a thin black tie, and black dress shoes.

Eddie looks them over and whistles. "What?" Cole asks.

"You guys look hot as fuck." Buck says, and Cole blushes.

"What took you guys so long?" Wes asks, and Eddie looks from Buck to Wes. "Score is now five to four." Eddie answers, Wes lets out a cackle, and the doorbell rings.

Eddie rushes over to answer it and is met with a decked-out Bosko and Dani. But Nate is still in sweatpants with a suit bag over his shoulder. The women look amazing. Bosko has on the sleek red dress Eddie and Buck bought for her when they went to kick Trey Calle's ass. Her hair is curled and hanging over her left shoulder. Dani has on a beautiful tight purple dress. The dress covers one shoulder, and the other is bare, with the dress going under her arm. The dress looks stunning on her.

"You both look fucking great." Eddie says as he steps to the side and lets them in.

"Thank you, sugah." Dani answers with her southern drawl, and she steps inside. Bosko and Nate follow her.

"Nate, do you need to shower?" Eddie asks.

"If you don't mind." He answers in his thick Boston tone.

Eddie leads Nate down the hall to the bathroom and gets him set up while Dani and Bosko get to work on Buck.

When Eddie returns to the living room, he gets a dirty look from Bosko. "When did you become part vampire?"

"I was infected with contaminated blood when I had the transfusion after I was shot." Eddie deadpans. Five sets of eyes turn to him.

"Damn, Eddie came to play today." Wes teases, "Like that took him 0.2 seconds to clap back."

"It was a good one too." Dani says.

"Seriously, Diaz. Two, come on now. I know you are sweet on Buckley, but come on." She teases Eddie.

"You have never had any of this white chocolate. You don't know what you're missing, Bosko." Buck laughs, and Dani starts to giggle at Buck using her nickname for him.

"Sit down, Eddie." Bosko says, and he walks over to sit in front of her. Dani looks over at Eddie's hickey.

"Switch, baby." Dani says, and they swap seats. Bosko works on Buck, and Dani works on Eddie.

"Fight club?" Buck asks, and Bosko nods. "I had to cover up some nasty one on your boy over there." She says, nodding to Eddie. "But more on myself. Your skin tone is closer to mine; I won't need to blend much to cover you.

Bosko makes quick works of Buck's hickeys. He hops up and heads into the dining room to finish getting dressed. He comes back out a few minutes later in his grey suit, with a deep navy blue button-down that matches Eddie's suit and a grey tie.
