today is the third day moon stays at home for being sick. he refuses to go because he says he doesn't feel well when he's away from them. it worries seonghwa and hongjoong, they see him play happily at home with them with no signs of being actually sick.

seonghwa even thought about the possibility of him being bullied by his class mates which scares the living shit out of him. it would break his heart if he really was.

his thoughts were interrupted by moon calling him from the bathroom.

"mommy, I'm done."

seonghwa walks to the boy who has a blue towel wrapped around him. he picks him up, walking towards his room where all his toys still laid on the ground.

"moon, can you go to kindergarten tomorrow?"

seonghwa asks him as he sits down on his bed. moon only looks at him and shakes his head with a pout on his lips. quickly the boy looks away from seonghwa, making him sigh.

"but baby why? you don't seem sick anymore."

moon doesn't answer or look at him, he just plays with the seam of his towel.

"you have to go moon, I'm sorry."

he immediately shots his head up to look at seonghwa. alone his eyes are pleading him to not go but seonghwa can't do this forever.

"but mommy I want to spend time with you and daddy. I don't want to go there."

he says, gripping onto seonghwa's arms.

"but daddy is working anyways and you have the whole afternoon to spend with us."

yes, hongjoong is still working as usual. they haven't talked to each other since their last fight unless moon was around. they don't want him to know everything that has been going on between them. he for sure would be upset so they try to make it seem like everything is fine in front of him.

moon drops his head again and leans towards seonghwa's chest. it is hard for seonghwa, having to force him to go to school and seeing moon like this. he wraps his arms around moon's body and hugs him tightly.

"mommy, please. I want to be with you and daddy."

moon says with his cheek pressed against his chest. seongwha slowly releases from the hug and kisses his forehead.

"okay, I'll ask daddy."

seonghwa is the type to easily give in to what moon wanted while hongjoong is a bit more strict. it is easier for him to say no to moon than seonghwa. it is a great balance for them, that way moon wouldn't be too spoiled and learn about discipline.

seonghwa changes him to his pyjamas and gives him a good night kiss before leaving his room. he deeply inhales, thinking about how he should talk to hongjoong now. taking a seat on their couch, seonghwa thinks about the times where they were happier. where they could talk normally about anything but now they don't speak a word to each other.

he stops before his studio door. seonghwa can hear the music coming from it, usually he didn't mind knocking but these days he doesn't know what hongjoong's reaction could be. but he needs to do this. this is about moon and they eventually have to talk.

the door was opened before seonghwa could even knock. hongjoong stood in front of him as he looks at him with his head slightly tilted.

"what are you doing here?"

he asks while seonghwa couldn't speak out his words.

"uh- well moon wants to stay at home for tomorrow again."
