Revisiting my thoughts: Poem from within [Vol 4]

Tired

This life is hard.

I don't know who said otherwise.

Things that are meant for you

Don't come easily,

And the things that aren't,

Come in faster.

I don't know when I'm gonna stop disappointing

The Man upstairs.

My parents and myself included.

I'm tired,

But that's not a good enough excuse.

I want to put a pause on things,

But it seems like

I'm on a time crunch.

I'm slightly flexible,

But truly irritable

With this situation I've gotten myself into.

God's path is a cool path.

God's path is the best path.

But why is it such a hard path?

Endurance, perseverance, and resilience---

I'm sure

Will become of me at the end,

If I do see the end.

If there is an end.

If this end is the end destined to be my faithful end.
