Harry doesn't know how long he stood in the entry to the room, where his target was together with Severus Snape and a little toddler.

The snake, however, noticed him almost immediately, but to Harry's surprise she didn't attack him and what was more shocking to him, were her next words to him.

"Pleasssse, if you can underssstand me, ssssave them. My human issss no longer sssafe here."

"What do you mean? Are you not the familiar of Lord Voldemort?", hissed Harry back, still stunned of the request.

"Not any longer. He tried to kill my grand hatchlings." Harry's eyes went wide. Hatchlings?

"Hatchlings?"

"Yesss, the one you can sssee, lying on his mother and the other not yet born."

"Mother? But...How can that be?" Harry took some steps further, but as he reached the side of his old Professor, something clicked inside of him. Under the layer of Nagini's scent, he smelled something very nice, like a forest after a thunderstorm.

As his senses came back to reality, Harry found himself near to Snape's neck, where his scent was the strongest and as he moved his head to look to the toddler, he found himself staring in big black onyx eyes, the same color he remembered of his Potions Professor, no, mate. He knew, he had found his mate, what was really shocking, but in same time an overwhelming feeling of protectiveness took its place.

Nagini observed this creature. She immediately knew that this person was a creature, a very strong one. He would be able to protect her knew human and her grand hatchlings.

"Hi little one. I'm Harry. What's your name?" Harry didn't move and only whispered to the small girl on Snape's chest. Nobody could deny that this girl is Severus' Baby. She was a splitting image from her mother. Mother? It was strange to think Severus Snape is a mother. He would have to find out what happened with his mate the last two years since he disappeared.

The girl didn't answer until at least two minutes has passed without anyone moving. Then she whispered, "Silvana, who are you? Will you hurt mother, too?"

"No, never. Do you want for me to take you and your mother with me and into safety?" Harry wouldn't let them here either way, but he doesn't want to scare the girl. She only seems a little over one year old, but the way she spoke, told Harry she was a smart girl, 'Like her mother' thought Harry.

The little girl moved her head to the side, where Nagini's head was. Of course, Harry shouldn't be really surprised as the girl spoke with the snake in Parseltongue. If it hadn't be the place they were in, then at least know Harry would have found out, that Voldemort had to be the father. Silvana doesn't look like him and Harry was a little grateful for it, but he was also curious how his mate could get pregnant. He never heard of something like this. 'Maybe a special gift from Lady Magic or a potion, a hex?' mused Harry.

A tuck on his right arm, signaled the girl has finished her chat with Nagini. Of course, Harry had understood every word, but didn't want interfere, but he also knew that there wasn't much time left before Voldemort would return.

"Nagini says you're good person. You wouldn't hurt Mama."

"I'm not sure, if I am a good person. Others may think otherwise, but I can swear to you, that I won't hurt you or your mother. Is this alright?"

Silvana nodded, but narrowed her eyes while looking back to the snake. "What about her? My sire will punish or k-kill h-her. She's also my mother's familiar since my sire broke the bond. It had hurt her badly, she al-almost di-died, if mama hadn't sa-saved her. Made a new bond."

Harry looked to Nagini, never ever would he have thought that Voldemort would break his bond with his familiar. It wasn't something wizards would do, although it did happen a few times, but normally only if there was no other choice or somebody else broke it forcefully.
