Very well then. Lord and Ladies, for decades you were forced to choose between two sides. Even before then many had decided to withdraw from the Wizengamot as if I did, deciding it was time to let others manage the politics. However, as it turned out, it was a big mistake. We allowed two men to manipulate us each in their own ways and I'm sad that many of us, me included, let them do it even if it was only by turning our gazes away. But, I won't do it any longer. The past weeks had shown me, how bad everything actually had become and I won't any longer stand back. Both sides aren't what they once claimed to be or are still claiming to be." Valerius came straight to the next topic after the doors to the courtroom closed again.

Many had grim faces, nodding here and then, especially these wixen, who had also closed their eyes.

"Mr. Dumbledore. How often had you said, you would help creatures to get equal rights? Now, the only thing I had found, are new laws, which restricted them even more, worse some of the creatures, which had never done anything, were suddenly declared dark and dangerous. Who gives you the right to declare a whole species dark, just because one or two may be more aggressive or dangerous? Or do you just look at them, decide they look disgusting and must be therefore evil? I'm wondering, you allowed a single werewolf to study in Hogwarts and it turned out to be fine, at least if not some idiots decide to send another student to the hideout of said werewolf."

The crowd gasped and looked shocked, but Valerius hasn't finished yet.

"It was an accident and a misunderstanding."

"No, Mr. Dumbledore. Against your own laws, you allowed a werewolf inside Hogwarts without telling anyone, even your own staff. Then you did nothing to make sure that your students would be safe at full moon. No precautions were made to prevent students to leave the castle."

"The students are informed about the rules. No one is allowed to leave the castle past eight pm."

"Please, we're speaking about children. No one here can deny to, at least, going against one of the rules when we're at that age. Children like to cause trouble and it is the duty of the adults to prevent them to do it or punish them for it. Yet you did nothing, you even let the culprits get away and force the victim to take an oath to not speaking of any of it."

Angry yells run through the courtroom, demanding answers.

"The werewolf did nothing wrong. Had said student not going out, he wouldn't have been attacked.", gritted Dumbledore out, clearly not liking that this came out.

"Of course, it wasn't the fault of the werewolf, but that of his supposed friends who liked to torment other students. Yet they never were punished, even if they assaulted one of the students."

Harry could see how some wixen stiffen and shrunk into themselves, remembering said event.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Even worse then. I see others remember it very clearly, had they stand-by and watched, though I don't blame them. Children and teenagers can be very cruel. I just hope they all grew up, not like someone else I know. But, let me recall. It were Sirius Black and James Potter, who levitated Severus Prince, former Severus Snape, in the air and holding him upside down threatening him to remove his underwear in front of the whole school. It was Sirius Black, who tricked Severus to go into the Shrieking Shack at full moon, very well knowing that his werewolf friend was there. I won't mention all the other things they had done to my grandson or others students, but at least for this two incidents, both deserved to be expelled if not even put on a trial, yet neither had happened, because those two were Gryffindors. It's well known how you prefer that House over the others and that Gryffindors were free to do whatever they wanted. Isn't that right? Not to mention the war. You knew the Dark Lord was recruiting, but again you didn't protect the students. No, you even decided how great it would be if you would get your own spy into the pit. And what would be better as to use a half-blood Slytherin, whose only friend was a Gryffindor girl, who had no connections to any powerful family and whose parents didn't care what is happening to him?"
