You were a virgin?

It was evening when Alexander and his wife came back with three children, who looked scared, suspicious and in wonderment at the castle and the surroundings.

The oldest was a girl named Tina, the second oldest a boy named Sean and the youngest, also a boy, named Julius. The introduction was a little rude, because Sean was very angry and didn't trust any of them. For years, they were forced to live in the muggle world, because the wixen didn't care and ignored them, except Lisa, their new mother.

Severus had apologized and tried to sooth him, but the boy just scoffed and ignored him. Tina and the youngest stayed in the background, but you could see that the oldest didn't trust them either.

"My apologies, Severus. Please give them a little time. We had no time to explain all the details what had happened. I'm sure they will be more open, when they know the truth."

"It's ok, Lisa. I can understand that it must be weird, why all of the sudden, you were able to get them out of the orphanage, though you knew them for years and tried to adopt them before. It's only natural to be angry or suspicious."

"Thank you, Severus."

"You're welcome. The elves have prepared a living area for you. It'd be enough for the moment until I can rebuild Hogwarts in a few weeks. I assume you'll prefer to eat dinner there as well?"

"Yes, we have many things to discuss with our new charges. Thank you again, Severus."

"It's really no issue. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night."

"You too." Severus called Trixi, asking her to take his uncle and his family to their quarters in Hogwarts, which she answered with an eager 'Yeah, Master'.

Severus watched them for a moment, leaning against Harry, who wrapped an arm around his waist, hand on his belly.

"They will come along, Sev. Shall we head to the Great Hall? It's time for dinner." Harry pressed a kiss on Severus' temple, slowly beginning to walk forward in direction of the Great Hall.

"I just don't understand why Dumbledore would prevent orphaned wixen from the muggle world to be adopted. I've a feeling there is more about it."

"Hm. The goblins had told us, Dumbledore had access to a lot of vaults in Gringotts. Maybe, knowing that some of the kids could be descendant from an extinct magical family bloodline with vaults may have many treasures inside, was a reason. He could easily manipulate the kids sign a magical guardian contract or anything. I don't want to think about, but he could easily let them disappear after they finished Hogwarts. No family who searched for them or others, who would get access to the vaults."

"By Merlin, please don't tell me he might have killed who knows how many former students to get to their money. Because if you do, then it's true and I'm really done with all the bad news. On the other hand, I'd feel bad for all the victims if what you assume is true. Did you tell the goblins about it?"

"Not yet. But I'll write them. They will a better chance to find out the truth."

"Hm. At least, it'll not happen again. As soon as I'm done with Hogwarts, I'll go to each orphanage in the muggle world and take out all the children with a magical core, no matter how strong it is, the same with all the children in Knockturn Alley, except they don't want to. I cannot force them to live in Hogwarts, if they don't want to."

"Sounds like a plan, though I don't think you should be the one, who is going into the muggle world. If they notice your belly, which will be surely more pronounced as it is right now, then they may get very confused. It'll only cause trouble."

"Are you saying I'm fat?" Severus stopped walking and stared up at Harry with narrowed eyes. However, Harry looked confused.

"Fat? Severus, you're still underweight and I wouldn't say being pregnant and carrying children inside you, means you're getting fat. True, your belly is growing, but that's normal and you know it."
