Silence.

The students and even staff couldn't quite grab what the little girl had said.

Then, someone whispered, asking. "Did the toddler just called us dunderheads?"

Another whisper replied. "Yeah, yeah, she did."

"Did she called the professor, Mama?"

"Oh my, she looks like him."

A smirk appeared on Severus' face, what let some of the students gape at him, at least those who knew him. After all, he never smiled, not even a smug grin was ever found on his face. He always looked like he had swallowed something disgusting.

"You have to excuse them, my little angel. They hadn't expected to see their old teacher with a small child. For the most of them I was just the mean professor, who had nothing better to do as to torment them."

Silvana scowled at that. "They surely deserved that."

Severus chuckled. "If you say so, my darling. Mr. Potter can surely tell you, if he deserved all of my scolding towards him." Silvana looked at Harry expectantly.

Harry drew back a little at the two identical stares he received, waiting for an answer. "Er, I...I think I deserved most of it, though I had no possibility to learn before I started at Hogwarts, so I think my first lesson in class was just to embarrass me."

"Quite right Mr. Potter, five points to Gryffindor." Harry's eyes widen and the color in his face changed to a bright red, though Severus doesn't see it, because he turned his gaze back to the other students, whose mouths hang open, at least from the older students. The younger ones just looked confused, not knowing why their older housemates, were so shocked about the whole scene.

"Professor Snape." Neville called, walking over to them. "I'm glad you are back, sir." Before Neville could come to close, the snake lifted her head, hissing a warning in his direction. He immediately stopped, but bowed his head as a sign of respect.

"Mr. Longbottom. I see you grew up very well."

Neville was at least two inches taller than Severus was now with his 5'9, but a little smaller than Harry, who was at least 6'3 in high. Honestly, it wasn't as difficult as you would think to grow taller than Severus.

Most wixen were about 6 feet and taller, no matter if they were pure- or half-bloods or even muggleborn and as long as you got enough nutrients during your childhood. Unfortunately, for Severus, his parents couldn't effort to buy enough food, mostly because his drunken father would more prefer to spend his money for a drink in a bar as to care for his own family.

Severus shook his head, he didn't want to think about it anymore, he was thirty-seven and has his own family to think about, it wouldn't do to dwell in the past, if he wants a future. Therefore, Severus put his memories from his parents and childhood back into the furthest corner of his mind and locked them away.

"Thank you, sir. Hello there. My name is Neville Longbottom." At the last, he looked at the cute little girl, who watched him a little suspicious.

"Silvana Snape. Are you the boy, who blew countless cauldrons up?"

Neville laughs. "Unfortunately, yes. Furthermore, it's one thing that hadn't changed. I'm really terrible in Potions. If I could, I would drop the class, but I need it for my Herbology Mastery, though it's looking very bad for me. There is no chance I could possible pass my NEWT in Potion with an EE, let alone an O."

"Maybe Mama can help you, though Mama cannot brew dangerous things, right now."

"Silvana.", reprimanded Severus. Sometimes his daughter gets a little too enthusiastic and it reminds him that she is still a toddler.
