Hermione wrapped her vest tighter around herself as she walked by the wide river with the Doctor by her side. With her hair tangling around her face matching her white shirt and brown vest that was flapping in sync with the sticky breeze, Hermione looked the perfect image of youth. Next to the Doctor in his bow tie and old tweed coat, they looked like an oddly matched couple, no spectators thinking that they were merely two people who only just knew each other. The Doctor was leading Hermione, who was, as always, equipped with her wand, to his blue Tardis that he had parked and locked a few blocks away from her modern apartment so that he could take her to a different planet.
The Doctor's eyes wandered around park to which they were in, lapping in its picturesque scenery. Hermione's eyes, however, were scouting for the azure Tardis that was forming in the distance. As they meandered nearer, it came into focus and Hermione could see a figure trying to force open the thick wooden doors with all his strength. The Doctor noticed and ran towards his beloved Tardis, leaving Hermione hot on his heels. The doctor wrenched the man away from the Tardis and Hermione backed him up by thrusting her wand into the mans throat. The man looked up and said a simple 'hello' that caused Hermione to faulter and lose the seriousness that was displayed on her face.
'Oh God!' Muttered the doctor throwing an audible face palm.
'Hello' Restated the odd stranger. He stood up and dusted off his grey, pilot-style coat that swept down to just above his ankles. He had a light blue shirt with suspenders in very much the same style as the Doctor with navy trousers and a very oddly shaped wrist watch. He held out his large hand to the doctor and smiled a million-dollar smile with pearly white teeth.
'Boss, finally!'
'For goodness sakes Jack! How did you find me?'
'Coincidence'
'Yeah right!'The Doctor glared down at Jack, but Jack just laughed at the comical sight with someone being serious whilst having their eyes squished by a close fitting fez.
'I'm sorry, but who are you?,' asked a terribly confused Hermione.
The mysterious man opened his mouth to start responding to Hermione's question, but the doctor hurriedly started talking.
'Hermione, this is Captain Jack Harkness, an old friend of mine who is always managing to find me. Jack this is Hermione. Hermione, Jack.'
Captain Harkness reached out and enthusiastically shook Hermione's soft hand, both smiling at each other.
'Well the wind is biting chief, so how about a ride in the Tardis?' Inquired Jack hopefully.
'One, I am not chief. Two, I can not be bothered arguing, so if Hermione doesn't mind, we will be off as a grand trio!'Hermione was listening in and nodded keenly, so they piled in through the Tardis door that the Doctor had opened by snapping his fingers and we're all gathered around the centre of the Tardis.
'So where to now?'
~ Sorry for the short chapter and I hope it wasn't confusing. I am trying to update more now and please tell me your thoughts as I would like to know if anyone aside from my friends like it. Thanks😄 ~
