Hey, I'm really sorry for not updating in FOREVER! I had a big music audition and had to do a fair bit of rehearsing. Anyway, the chapters are getting bigger, but if you prefer short ones, just say so. Please comment and vote, I will update the day I get 5 votes, just so that I know people read this. THANKS!!!!!

Hermione woke with the sun dappling through the thick red curtains that had blocked all light aside from the few openings where the curtains met. It took her a few moments to realise her surroundings, but when she did, she stood up and went to the girls bathroom. She had a hot, soothing shower, amazed at the privacy that came from being the only one there, for a change, and changed into the velvety robes provided by Rowena. She was pleasantly surprised when she found that they were so weightless, and, although appearing like a sheet, they actually looked like a blissful cross between robes, dress robes and muggle gowns.

Hermione quite suited the midnight blue that marginally changed colour as she moved, and quite liked the appearance she had adopted. Hermione pulled her hair into a high pony tail that flattered her bushy hair and made her way to the actual common room to talk with Jack and the Doctor, and they all knew what a lot of talking, private talking, was to be done.

She walked past the door into the boys dormitory and was only slightly surprised when she heard snoring. She pushed open the heavy door without sound and just a slight, true smile spread over her face as she surveyed the room. Jack Harkness had half fallen out of the Crimson bed, his singlet held up by suspenders that looked rather good on him. The Doctor was tucked up happily like a little child and sleeping soundly. She opened the thick curtains to wake them up, as her kindred Mother used to her. The blinding light filled the dim room, but still the two men were deep in slumber.

An evil grin spread on her face as she thought of the perfect solution. She assumed one could apparate within the school grounds as there were no students to worry about. Hermione thought about the spot of carpet right in between the Doctors and Jacks beds. She spun around tightly and felt the suffocating blackness for just a split second. Unfortunately, the loud bang that followed the apparation only slightly moved the sleeping men, so Hermione apparated all around the room until Jack and the Doctor were awake and alarmed at the noise.

Hermione smirked at the sight of their startled faces and smiled sweetly as their eyes fell on her.

"Morning."

Jack Harkness rolled his eyes and turned to get back into bed, but with one swish of her wand, both of their beds were made and the curtains flew apart, filling the room with dazzling, white light. Jack was clearly annoyed, but as he came to realisation of his surroundings, he just looked tired. Hermione was satisfied with her work and left them to change.

When they came out into the common room at last, Jack was grunting as he tried to re-arrange his robe. The male robes were like the dress robes that Ron had been forced to wear in their fourth year. Jack looked disgusted and quite horrified that he had to wear such clothes. Meanwhile, the Doctor was trying to annoy Jack by waltzing around him humming a bizarre waltz. Eventually they made it down the stairs and joined Hermione at the large wooden table with several plump, Crimson chairs.

"Hello boys, how nice of you to join me," Hermione spoke lightly and semi-sarcastically.

Jack Harkness, forgetting his sulky attitude, attempted his usual charm.

"Hello"

Hermione's cheeks gained just a hint of colour, but quickly changed the subject.

"Doctor, how did you sleep?"

"Well thank you Hermione, but I believe that you have some explaining to do."

Hermione pursued her lips as two pairs of eyes looked eagerly at her, Jack even stopped tugging at the frilly robe collar to listen.
