Chapter 6 - Indie Road Rager

As if dealing with Trina wasn't bad enough, they had to put danger into their gigs too.

Laney was having one of those days where she briefly wondered about joining another band with less dangerous gigs.

"Is this a good idea?" Katrina asked.

"No," she had replied, "but I kinda have to go along with whatever Corey wants so I technically have to say yes."

"What's the plan for this, then?"

"Did Trina bring Mr Mooseface with her? We might need it later."

"Yeah, it's under tight security but I can get it for you."

"Let's see how we do this first round, come find me after and I'll let you know."

"Alright, just stay safe out there."

"Can't make any promises, but I'll try."

....

Of course Trina would try to sabotage them.

At this point, it's something Laney expects and has to just deal with.

Katrina comes to find her before the next round, and she has a certain briefcase in hand.

"It's Mr Mooseface, at this point you need him now if you have any chance of surviving, never mind rocking."

"Hey, thanks Katrina. We've got this."

Laney tapes Mr Mooseface to the front of the car, ignoring the questions about where it came from and how she got it.

"Doesn't matter, let's get back out there!"

The predicted diary mode comes and the lyrics makes most of the drivers back off.

All except for Trina who is now determined to get her moose back at any cost.

She finally backs off when Laney throws the plushie up to her, and Grojband cross the finish line.

A killer song and a killer win for the band, what a great day.

"I'm never going on the road again," Laney says.

Katrina laughs.
