Loving The Enemy//Kai Parker

Chapter 4

Izabella's POV
We were outside getting ready for the eclipse. While we were walking, Damon was whistling. As yesterday I took only my diary with me

"You're in a good mood for the first time this decade." Said Bonnie to Damon
"Because I have a hot date with my girl tonight." Said Damon grinning
"Yeah, assuming Kai's telling the truth."Said Bonnie
"I'm thinking dinner and movie. You know what screw the dinner and the movie. Skip straight to the good part. " Said
ignoring Bonnie
"Ew gross." I said fake gagging
"Well sissy if you had a boyfriend you would have understand." Said Damon poking me with some stick he found in the forest
"What happened to hope Bonnie? Remember when I was like, 'boo, grrr' and you were all 'hooray, hooray' we're getting out of here." Damon said to Bonnie mocking her
"I want to go home but Kai's a sociopath." Bonnie said
"Hm what's the difference between phycopath and sociopath?" I asked myself. Bonnie and Damon totally ignored me and kept talking
"Look I'll kill Kai and anyone who comes in my way of me going home." Damon said. Kai appeard literally from nowhere
"I heard my name. All good I hope." He said grinning
"The eclipse will happen directly overhead in perfect alignment with the Gemini constellation." He explained
"You.." He pointed at Damon
"Need to dig into the tunnels below us. We'll do the spell there." He said to us
"Why?" Damon asked
"Have you never jumped through an eclipse before." Kai asked us like we were children. We kept silent
"OK. Look. The light of the eclipse will shine down and activate the ascendant.  You spout a witchy woo and poof! Anyone standing in the circle of light holding the ascendant goes home." He explained
"And by witchy woo you mean spell? Let me see it." Bonnie said
"When the times come." Said Kai
"I'm gonna go get some important supplies from the town and coma back."Said Kai and Damon started to duig the hole

Damon found the tunnels just when Kai came back. Damon vampire sped towards him and unzip his backpack
he found some useless things.
"Why do you need this things?" I asked him
"1994 has been my home for most of my life. I'd hate to get homesick. Do let's get down there." Said Kai
"No. We aren't going anywhere until you show me the spell." Commanded Bonnie
"Oookay." Said simply Kai
"Are we literally not going anywhere?" Asked Damon
"You don't want to show me the spell, the you can do it yourself.  You want my magic. Take it." Said Bonnie and hold her hand up to Kai. He didn't do anything but he kept smiling
"She's being brave." Said Kai looking at Damon
"I'm serious, Kai. This was your big threat, wasn't it? If I don't do the spell and let us out of here you'll just take my magic, leave me for dead, then do the spell yourself. So go ahead. Take all of it." Bonnie said confidently
"Don't mind if I do." He shrugged then grab her and take some of her magic
"Bonnie?" I said worried for her
"He won't kill me." Bonnie assured us
"Doesn't look like that from here." Said Damon
Kai finally stopped
"He doesn't know the spell. Which means we don'tneed him." Said Bonnie. She made a spell and and the pickaxe flew right into his heart and he dropped death
"Well, you did what you had to. Good job, Bonnie." I said to her happy that Kai was dead. Damon on the other hand yelled at her for doing this

Bonnie tried to find the spell in some grimouare while me and Damon were drinking the Zima but Damon said too many 'mmh' and disconcentrate Bonnie
"Can you stop." Said Bonnie getting annoyed at him
"On the bright side, this stuff's not so bad. It's fruity and fizzy." Said Damon
"Yup." I said poping the p
"On the not so bright side is your intelligence because you took the only chance of us getting out of here and turned him into a giant...douchekabob." Said Damon
"I need more alcohol." I said Cleary unhappy that we aren't going home anytime soon so I went to the Salvatore Mansion for more bourbon

Damon's POV
After Izabella's gone Bonnie continued
"Think about it Damon. What prison gives an inmate a key?" Question Bonnie
"Is that a tricky question?" I asked. Bonnie ignored me and kept talking
"I think the Gemini Coven used a Bennet spell to create this place. What if that's why my grams sent me here?"
"I don't understand you." I said
"You know, the last thing my grams said to me was to stay strong. What if that was her way of telling me I have the power to get out? I have the ascendant, a massive celestial event to draw from, plus a burning desire to get away from you." She said and I smiled at her. Then Bonnie said a bunch of words in latin and the ascendant opened wider
"That's Kai wouldn't kill me. He needed a Bennett. I was his only way out of here."

Izabella's POV
I came back from the boarding school
"Hey, hey, hey."I said
"Hey, where's the bourbon?" Damon asked me
"Oh, I drank it on the way here." I said casually
"Bonnie found a way back home." Said Damon to me
"Cool." I said
"Come with me" Siad Bonnie to us and we all three get into the tunnels. Then Bonnie pour some of her blood on the ascendant
"It's time." Said Bonnie
Me and Damon put our hands under Bonnie's. Just as she began to chant someone shot her with an arrow in the leg. She began to moan in pain. Kai came into a view
"Forgetting someone? Did you really think I hadn't tried to kill myself before? Because I had, lots of times, lots of ways." He said
Damon looked at the ascendant but Kai pointed his weapon at me
"Grab that, and the next arrow goes to your sister's heart." He informed us. I panicked I didn't move, I didn't know what to do. Damon vampire sped towards Bonnie take put the arrow from her stomach and as he was about to give her some of his blood Kai shot me in the shoulder near the heart with an arrow then dropped it and went to grab the ascendant but Damon pinned him against the wall. Kai then tried to stung an arrow at Damon's stomach
"God, man how many arrows do you have." I said moaning in pain trying to take it out but I was too weak
"Motus" Said Bonnie and Kia flew away from Damon
"Go." Said Bonnie to Damon
"You go too I'm not gonna make it home." I said to Bonnie giving her a nod assuring her that I'll be safe She smiled with me and took the ascendant with Damon a white light took them. The ascendant broke after that.
"No!" Kai yelled out of anger. I was atleast relief that my friends are back home safe then I passed out

Damon's POV
Stefan was at our family cript talking to the 'dead' me and 'dead' Iza and drinking bourbon. When he finished talking he threw the bottle of bourbon hoping to break it but I caught it
"So what? Gone a couple of months, you think it's ok to waste a perfectly good bottle of bourbon." I asked him
"How can I see you right now?" Stefan asked
"Because I'm not dead, Stefan." I said and we hugged
"Where is Izabella?" Stefan asked worried
"She's well, kinda fine but she didn't came with us. She sacrifice herself so me and Bonnie could come back. It'sa Hell out of a story." I said then explained everything
