Chapter 25

Izabella's POV
"Thank you for meeting me." I said
"Well, your boyfriend saved my family. It is the least I can do." Lily smiled
"Mother, he is not my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes
"He's the father of your children, right?" She asked
"I don't want to talk about him." I looked down
"What do you want to talk about then?" Lily questioned
"I cannot consume any blood. It all just comes back out. Stefan made me drink a little bunny's blood today, and it didn't even work." I shook my head
"You have to feed on Kai." She simply said
"W-what?" I asked confused
"You need to feed on the father of your children. Since he is a heretic, he's technically half a human. You need his blood." She explained
"No, there has to be some other way I can't-" Lily cut me off
"Izabella, do you want your babies to survive?" She questioned
"Yes, bu-"
"You need his blood." She said
"Okay." I sighed
"Can I help you with anything else?" Lily asked
"No, thank you. I should go." I said, getting up, leaving

We walked out of the grill, and I began to drive home. I felt sting on my cheek. Seconds later, there was a sharp pain in my neck. I was bleeding. I instantly knew what was happening. They were torturing Kai. I tried to call Stefan, but he didn't answer. I called Damon, and he answered.
"Hello, sister."
"Damon, where's Stefan?" I asked
"On the floor with his neck snapped. Also, say goodbye to your boy toy." Damon said
"Izzy, I know we are kind of mad at each other right now, but I really don't wanna die." Kai said
"Oh well." Damon said
"Damon, stop. Kai and I are linked. If you kill him, I die too." I told him
"You're lying." Damon said
"No, I'm not. I felt the slapping, the punching, and you stabbing him in the neck."
"Thank you, by the way. It really made my day." I said sarcasticly
"Damn it." Damon hung up

I finally got back home. I went to look for Stefan. I found him in the basement with Kai.
"Is everything alright?" I asked him
"Just peachy." He grinned
"What did our mother say?" Stefan asked, standing up
"Well, she said that I need Kai's blood." I answered
"No, I don't care what you need my blood for. You're not getting it until I'm out of these chains." He shook his head
"Well, since you're in the chains, I guess you don't really have a choice, do you?" I smiled
"I'm gonna go look for Damon." Stefan said and left

I walked into the cellar and closed the door. I grabbed Kai's hand bite into it. His blood tasted fantastic. It went right down, no problem.
"Okay, that's enough." Kai said, trying to push me away

I pulled away and wiped my mouth. I sat on the ground in front of him.
"Why did you need to do that again?" He asked, annoyed
"Your babies won't let me drink any other blood. Everything just comes back up, so I talked to my mum, and she said that I need your blood." I explained
"Stop saying 'your babies' it sounds weird." Kai said, disgusted
"They are your babies, though." I said
"Biggest mistake of my life." He rolled his eyes
"What is your problem? Are you that power-hungry that you want nothing to do with your kids?" I said angrily
"Yes." He answered simply
"I hate you, Kai."
"Feelings mutual."
"Well, I should go." I said getting up
"No, wait. It gets really boring down here." He looked down
"That's too bad." I said walking out of the cellar
