Synopsis:
Shelly King was told last year she would not be the captain of Lady Giovanna until after her brother no longer wanted it. So, she spent the last season sulking as the captain of a smaller charter off the southern coast of Spain. She had spent seven years toiling as a deckhand and then forcing her way up to First Stew under her father's tutelage. She would do all that he asked of her, if only for the hand of Lady Giovanna. Her older brother, Cruise, was to take it on when her father retired even though he had never spent a season on it.
Naturally, it did not go to Cruise when her father retired. Instead, Shelly inherited it after her father's passing during the middle of a charter season. And so, she inherited the superyacht, told the entire crew they would not be asked back for the next charter season, and decided she would no longer call her boat Lady Giovanna.
When Shelly King named the fifty-foot yacht she had inherited The Plunge, she should have anticipated that if anyone were to fall off the boat and drown, it would be her.

LMAO for the third time, am I done writing Perverse? Absolutely not. Closer though, and I can't stop myself. It's got Gentry vibes, maybe some Deterrent stuff, and possibly even a little Plight in there teehee. Let me know what you think! Any ideas already?
