This isn't so much of a rant as it is a question. How do people feel about killing off gay characters? I struggle to do so because it's such a trope that they die.
However, all of my works feature gay characters, basically. In fact, all of them have like, at least four queer characters, if not more. Like, main characters too. Which, becomes a problem for me because I'm a homicidal maniac who kills off dozens of characters in each book (which is, you know, my style).
Anyway, does anyone have any opinions? Like, is it okay to kill off gay characters if they constitute half the cast? Or like, is it never okay? I can't decide, and it makes me immensely frustrated.
