"Jumping over roofs is a lot harder when you're not a beast", Malik said.
"Yeah."
"I wish I was more like Jamar. I only have the speed."
"That still good", I replied.
He shrugged.
We got to the end of one of the construction buildings.
"Hold up."
"What is it?", I asked.
"That building right there."
"What about it?"
"That's the Night Club", Malik replied.
"Ohhh right."
"Yeah, he's gotta be in there."
"Well let's go we don't have much time", I said.
He followed me to the building.
"How's my dad?", I asked.
"He's fine."
I nodded.
When we got to the building the door was locked.
"Shoot."
"What?"
"The doors locked", I replied.
Malik took a breath and busted through the door.
I stood there with my eyes wide.
"Ok, that's one way to get in."
We looked around. There was no one there.
"Hello?", Malik said.
Nothing.
I pointed to the back door.
"There."
Malik nodded and I followed him.
"Ok, we're going to break the door down."
"Ok", I replied.
"Before he could try to knock the door down someone slung it open."
"Ahhh!"
It was Tyson.
The bear man had been munching on two bodies lying on the floor.
"Oh my god!", I said.
"Long time no see", he said.
Malik took a step forward.
"When Jamar's done with you, all you're going to be eating is the dirt beneath your feet."
He laughed.
"Malik. The same weak side kick. I know Jamar doesn't go anywhere without you", he replied.
"What did you do to those people?",  I asked.
He moved aside.
My stomach dropped. Those two bodies where Zion's and Mrs. Donna's.
"Oh...oh my god", I said falling to the floor.
Malik picked me up me and sat me against the wall.
I was so dizzy and lightheaded I couldn't keep my eyes open. That monster had killed Jamar's friend and my mom's best friend.
I screamed.
"Ahhhh!"
I couldn't catch my breath. And as Malik and Tyson fought it out I sat there helpless. Then my eyes closed shut. Everything went pitch black. I was out.
