A week after saving Darran's party.

"Sir, there is a letter for Her Highness Yelijvhan and one other letter for Sir Arlan Adamanheim" (Mansion's Guard)

At about sunset, we went back to the mansion after we registered Shen as an adventurer and taught him the rope as an adventurer for the day. When we arrived at the mansion, the guard immediately gave Yeli 2 letters.

"Kaori sent me a letter and the other one is from a high-ranking priest. This one is for you, Arlan"

I don't remember making any acquaintance with any church member, much less having a problem with them openly. And the content... Instead of inviting me to the church, it was more like the sender demanding me to go to the church for some random excuse. They also emphasized bringing Veil with me.

Let's just ignore it. I don't want to be tangled with church business.

"Kaori invites us to the palace, she specifically requests me to bring you along, Arlan. What do you think?"

"Well, we don't have anything to do for a while"

"Alright. I will reply to her immediately. We will visit the palace tomorrow morning. By the way, what's your letter says?"

"A demand for me to visit the church. I don't like the way the sender words it out, so I won't go"

"Eh? Are you sure?"

"Since the churches don't have any position in demanding such a request, their demand is worth nothing to me. More so when they didn't even bother in telling me the reason they demand me to visit them"

I handed over the letter to Yeli.

After searching for the sender's name, I found out that he is from Talas church, the so-called God of War. Their worshippers are warmonger-like. I hope I don't bring any trouble to Yeli's kingdom.

"You're right. If they happened to do a forceful approach, I think my title as a princess can help"

"I hope it doesn't have to come to that"

The talk doesn't go any further so the girls just go straight to the bathroom. We only have 1 bathroom in this mansion so we take turns in using it.

"Hey, Arlan, are there gods in this world?"

We, Shen and I, are currently in the living room, enjoying a nice breeze from the magic crystal that I installed a few days ago.

"There are 7 gods, 10 if you include the 3 demon gods. Also, they all exist. I know your people lack belief in God beings but here, all the known gods by the masses are real"

"Not just gods, but demon gods too? Can you tell me all of them?"

"Sure-"

So, I tell Shen about the order of the gods in this world.

First would be Narantur, the Goddess of Creation. She is believed as the creator of this world and the highest being among gods while some revered her as the source of life and fertility too. People depicted her as a nurturing figure, wearing a green robe and a wreath of flowers on her head. It is also not rare to see her statues built surrounded by several animals bowing their head to her statues or even her caressing the animals.

Under Narantur, as people believed it to be, is Solarius, the Sun God. Solarius is often referred to as the source of all life. He is depicted with a radiant sun disc on his head which is associated with healing and rejuvenation. All his statues were built facing the west so every sunrise, his statues would be showered with sunlight from his back.
