*A small update on my condition. On the last day of May, I got into an accident. I got a bone fracture in my right hand, so my writing was halted during my recovery. I'm still recovering but I can use my right hand already, so I'm writing slowly right now.
*This chapter is to fill the gap from the last chapter, as well as a way to rest the dear reader's mind from action-filled chapters.
*I'm sorry for the long delay, but I will start to make up for the lost time although my writing has become much slower. My bone fracture was predicted to heal after 3 months, so don't worry, I can use it normally again! (THANK GOD!)
**As always, enjoy this short chapter!
"So, how do we bring all of these corpses?"
Looking at the mountain of corpses after bringing them all to the intended cave, Lida commented on them. The corpses are from various monsters and beasts., and these were the unprocessed ones. Next to this pile are another three piles of monster materials.
"Our side has no more space. All of our rings are filled to the brim with materials."
Said Paladin Daria after checking with her group. The gem on each of the spatial rings is bright indicating they are full. There are 10 spatial rings in the group and yet all of them are full.
"Do we just leave them here?"
"There's no other choice. Arlan, can you help somehow?"
"Huh?"
The young man who was staring into the air as if looking at something had to look at Paladin Daria.
"We couldn't store the rest, can you help us, Arlan?"
"Ah... About the corpses, huh? Sure! I will lend you this spatial ring."
Arlan handed an emerald ring made with Mythril. Small inscriptions of spells can be seen on the ring with no space left.
"Eh?" Upon receiving the ring, Paladin Daria was taken aback by the design. She seems to recognize the inscriptions. "Are you sure you're lending me this?"
Arlan nodded without much hesitation as he returned to his own world.
"In that case... Oh? Oooh!? What!? It stored all of them!?"
The mountains of carcasses and corpses were sucked into the ring, the amount itself surpasses what a normal spatial ring could store by 5 times.
"I can somehow feel that the ring can still store many more items! How does it work?"
Paladin Daria is naturally interested in how the ring works. Her title as Chief Paladin means she was often put in subjugation missions where mountains of monster loot were often being left behind because of the lack of space. Seeing Arlan's ring has caught her attention and she pesters him to sell the ring or teach the inscription to the Magic Department in the palace.
Lida who was looking at Paladin Daria's weird personality shook her head and turned her attention to her friend, Berta who was drooling at the sight of the roasted meat.
"You'll end up tearing the meat apart with just your stare, Berta."
"There's no way that happens! Beside! The roasting smell is unbearable! The sizzling from the fat and the roasted spices permeated the cave! I can't wait to taste it!"
"All you think about is food, what about that suit of you?"
"What about it?" Berta was still wearing the suit in its small version, so the armguards became smaller and the core was on her chest. "Arlan helped me tune it, so I could do nothing right now. I'll show it to Grandpa later. Anyway, what about you, boss? Aren't you going to ask him?
