Several guards were prepared as he about to ask Annie Larson's whereabout.
"Excuse me, are you perhaps, Arlan?"
One of the guards asked Arlan immediately to confirm his identity.
"Ah, yes, is sis Annie around?"
"She's not, but we were informed to wait here by her order"
"Alright, he is one of the big wanted criminal on the list. There are some in the city, so I'll be back for a while"
Once again, Arlan just went and disappeared and then back with some more wanted criminal.
Long-short night on that day, Arlan managed to capture multiple big criminals in the city and let Annie took over the job after he gave her the proof about their misconducts. The big criminals are about illegal slavery, gangs of murderer, necromancy, and corrupted nobles.
Although murderer is not that big of a criminal in this world, but when it was about gangs, it became quite huge problem.
Necromancy is a common thing in this world, but when someone used necromancy to ruins people life, especially in a big city, they became wanted criminal, same as the corrupted nobles. These nobles are supposed to be respected people, but for some decades, people started to see nobility as a symbol of authority.
Authority only owned by kings, governors, guild leaders, and other rulers. Noble was granted to a respectful person, it was never intended for the whole family to own this nobility.
That's why corrupted nobles appeared a lot everywhere and did misconduct to keep their nobility for themself and their own family.
"With this, I'll let you handle everything, sis Annie"
"Eh? Wait, what do you mean by that?"
"Just like what I said. I don't want to handle troublesome thing like this, so I just shifted it to you"
"What about the reward?"
"You can have it, or just share it with the guards and adventurer's guild. I don't care what you're going to do with it. I'm just tired"

Troublesome thing is troublesome, that what Arlan thought when he's leaving the scenes.
He left the market and went to the adventurer's guild to meet up with the girls. But as soon as he enters the building, Musha and Misha welcomed him as they already sensed his presence outside the door. The receptionists welcomed him a bit late from the girls and said their gratitude toward him.
After having a lot of people thanking him, he immediately asked the girls.
"How is Saya doing?"
"Well, she's fine. She's helping the other tending people that you just saved"
While they walked to the room where people that Arlan saved is, they all looked at Arlan and said their gratitude. He just waved his hand and nodded to answer them while he looks around for Saya. Accidentally, he found Kelyn in the room tending people.
"Oh, Kelyn is here"
"Ah, yes, she heard about the commotion and rushed here since the guild lacks some priest"
"Spirits, can you girls connect me with every priest in this room?"
"Sure Master, Lili could easily do that while the other could keep the connection stabilize"
"Alright, Lili, please"
"A-ah, yes, Master. [Connect Senses]!"
"Alright, [Magic Transfer], [Magic Stabilizer]"
With those 2 magic, which is the low tier and advanced tier magic, Arlan gave every priest in the room some of his magic to recover fatigued priest. While the spirits maintaining the connection, Lili work harder to kept the connection flowing from her master's body.
After several minutes, finally, everyone can take some rest and the people that Arlan saved finally stabilized and sleep soundly. He went to Kelyn and Saya and gave them magic potion and stamina potion to recover.
"Ah, Arlan, welcome back..."
"Yes, I'm back, Kelyn. Thank you for helping around"
"Hehe, it was not a big deal. I'm also glad I could help"
"Arlan, are you fine? Did they hurt you? How is thing going out there?"
"Don't worry, I'm fine. The criminals have been handled. Sis Annie takes care everything in my stead"
"Thank god you were fine..."
Finally, after that last word, Saya fell asleep in Arlan's hug. He lets Saya to sleep in the adventurer's guild when he accompanies Kelyn to her house.
"It must be tough and worrying, right?"
"What do you mean?"
"Yeah, I mean, it must be tough to handle such thing after you done exploring and also worried about people that you care not with you while you were exploring"
"That's true. Even though I made such preparation at the store, I forgot about outside the store. I'm still lack of experiment to protect people that I cared"
"It's fine, let's make today a lesson for a better future, I guess"
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks for calming me down"
"Hehe, no problem. We are friend, aren't we?"
"Yup, that's right"
That night, it backs to be peaceful once again.
