Wrapping my arms around Jungkook's neck, I grunted when the angel wings broke through my mortal skin and a surge of electricity rushed through my veins as he hugged my waist tighter. The air current was suddenly blocked by the two massive wings which opened like a shield and our bodies crashed into one another as I spun in the air, holding him glued to my body when I flew in a loop before landing on the ground safely with Jungkook still in my embrace. Sighing unnoticeably, I thanked the Gods that my wings listened to his command. Him. My soulmate. The one who could control every part of me without even trying. The only one who meant that much.

Lifting my gaze, I noticed the birds which stopped in the air, I noticed the clouds which stopped moving and the leaves that stopped falling. Time stopped. I stopped it again. Biting my lower lip, I clicked my fingers, hoping that I still had power over it and sighed relieved when the birds flew again, the clouds moved again and a leaf fell right in front of my feet on the pavement. Looking upwards again, I noticed a woman bending over the edge of the building with a shocked expression painted all over her face. Áfonya.

Isabelle: Shit!

I swore and grabbed Jungkook's right wrist, pulling him after me towards the building.

Isabelle: Come! We can't let her escape.

His grunt made me stop in my place, a weird sensation of fear spreading through my stomach as I turned around. I understood exactly why I was feeling that way when my eyes travelled across the bloody scratch on his right biceps. Taking a step towards him, I couldn't take my eyes off of his wound as I whispered breathlessly.

Isabelle: The bullet hit you!

Yoongi's P.o.v:

Wailing, the woman in the movie bent over her husband's dead body, tugging at his clothes, in fake hopes that he would eventually come back from the dead. Rain started pouring, but instead of water, arrows of fire hit the rough battlefield, bathing the two lovers in light. The woman didn't move a single inch, her tears falling and rolling down her husband's cheeks as the arrows of fire hit her back numerous times. She took the pain. It seemed like that fire which was burning down the battlefield was nothing compared to the fire which was devouring her heart. She eventually glued her forehead to the one of her man's, covered in blood and dirt, cold and rigid in comparison with her immaculate, warm skin.
Denise's soft sob pulled me out of the dramatic plot of the movie we were watching and made me direct my gaze towards her. Massaging the soles of her feet, I tilted my head as a smile spread on my lips.

Yoongi: Baby, don't cry. It's just a story.
Denise: *chuckling, she wiped her tears with a napkin* A good story, actually. I cry every time I watch it. It's the best love story I have ever heard about.
Yoongi: *smiling, I moved closer to her, still holding her feet in my lap* I never believed in true love, do you know that?
Denise: *she scoffed* When you almost kicked me out of your mansion the first moment I arrived, I made a slight impression that maybe you aren't really the 'believes in love at first sight' type of man.
Yoongi: *scoffing too, I shook my head* What type did I look like?
Denise: *pinching my ribs, she grinned* Misogynist.
