Kyong Su's P.o.v:
Following Evanora and Lilee down a narrow path, I gulped, trying to forget about the existence of the deep ravine which opened up beneath my feet. The blonde witch didn't seem to be afraid, so I was sure that she knew what she was doing. Taking small and cautious steps, I pushed my back further into the solid rock from behind me, trying to find some support, but I was still feeling like I might fall any second. Gulping, I stopped in one place and closed my eyes for a second. I've been through a lot of shit in my life, but this scared me to death. And nothing ever scares me.
Lilee: Master? *she whispered* Do you need my help?
Kyong Su: *gritting my teeth, I opened my eyes* No, Lilee. I'm fine on my own.
Evanora: *she scoffed* You don't look fine at all. Scared much?
Kyong Su: *snorting, I shot her a glance as I started walking again* I'm not scared. Why would I ever be scared? I can do this all day long, girls. It's a pleasure.
Lilee: *she chuckled* This is fun, actually.
Kyong Su: *the small steps I took were lame in comparison with those of the two girls in front of me* Yeah, I mean... falling 100 meters and crushing your bones sounds dope as fuck.
Lilee: *she laughed* Just admit that you're scared already!
Evanora: It will be our little secret. She said in a cocky tone and I inhaled a sharp breath, clenching my jaw. I wasn't afraid. Not at all. But, you must be insane to think that this was a normal way of travelling. I ignored the two of them laughing and simply just tried to focus on the steps that I took. The more I looked down at my feet, the bigger a hollow formed in my stomach. One wrong step and I was gone. Inhaling and exhaling, I convinced myself that I can do it. You couldn't see anything downwards, due to the fog which was lifting and maybe that was a good thing. It could be anything down there. Water, trees, sharp rocks. Rocks among which I was going to crush my bones if I took a wrong step. Shaking my head, I took another step with my eyes closed. Maybe if I kept them closed and just followed the sound of Lilee's steps, I could make it. Yeah, this was a good plan. However, the plan fell through the moment I stepped on a pebble and, suddenly, the world shook around me. I heard the girls gasping, but, having nothing to anchor myself into, I leaned forward and inevitably fell, a guttural scream rolling out of my mouth. The humid fog embraced me and a cold breeze of air pushed my body downwards as, vaguely, I heard Lilee screaming.
Lilee: MASTER...
Evanora's P.o.v:
Watching Kyong Su fall into the ravine was by far the most traumatizing thing I have ever seen. He was there a second ago and then, all of a sudden, he was gone. I didn't even get the chance to blink. Shocked, both Lilee and I stopped in one place and stared at the white fog her master just fell through.
Lilee: *her voice cracked* What do we do now?
With wide open eyes, I took a deep breath in and held it inside my chest until my lungs started to hurt. However, I let that breath out under the form of a sigh of relief when a black raven speared through the thick fog and cawed above our heads. Flapping its charcoal wings, it flew all the way to the end of the path, between two rocks, and transformed into a tall man with long ebony hair. Landing into a bowing position, he then straightened his back and brought his hands closely to his mouth, screaming towards us excitedly.
