Third Person's POV
Jay was nervous as he walked through the halls of his new boarding school.
He had just arrived and already he was feeling out of place. But then he saw his cousin Morro coming towards him, and he felt a little more at ease.
“Hey, Jay! Welcome to the school!” Morro said, grinning.
“Thanks, Morro. I'm still trying to find my way around,” Jay replied.
“I can show you around if you want,” Morro offered. “Just be warned that Cole studies here too.”
Jay's heart sank at the mention of Cole. He and Cole used to be so close by, but something had happened between them and they had fallen out. Jay hadn't seen or spoken to Cole in years.
Jay sighed. "Great. Just what I need. More family drama."
As Morro and Jay continued their tour, they turned a corner and walked straight into Cole and his group of friends. Morro greeted Cole warmly, but the tension between Jay and Cole was palpable.
"Malik," Cole sneered, crossing his arms.
"Waverly," Jay replied icily, narrowing his eyes.
Their groups exchanged curious glances, murmurs of surprise and confusion echoing through the hallway.
It was no secret that Jay was a most famous teen actor, but almost no one knew that Cole was related to him.
Morro stepped in between them, sensing the hostility. “Guys, can we not do this here?”
But it was too late. The damage was done, and the corridor had fallen silent as students stopped to watch the scene unfold.
