Would she believe me if I said that she's the only one I trust?

Once I got ready, I headed off to my workplace, nothing special, sure, but today felt longer than usual, I kept thinking of Lauren, and if I wasn't, I would've just walked over to get some coffee. I was brought over to the man's house and there I found piles of drugs just laying around. I looked over to the kitchen knives, they were stained in blood. So, not only is this guy a thief, but he's also a murderer, the police were waiting for the man to get back home. Once the man stepped foot into his household, the police charged towards the man, but the man didn't hesitate to bring out a gun, boy was his sentence gonna be long. Apparently the man was transporting a variety of drugs to Mexico. And the thing is, he's not even from Mexico, so he would cross the border and transport over the drugs along with some other thugs in a white van, typical for kidnapping children, but this wasn't the case. The police tased the man and there he was brought over to the police car. The man was then interviewed by me. I asked loads of questions, like about the drugs, or about the formula.

He kept quiet most of the time, but there was plenty of evidence regarding his innocence or not. I found force to not be necessary, so I gave the man all the time he needs to speak up, but either way, he was gonna be scheduled to court whether he liked it or not.

There at court, the defendant testified their evidence about whether he's not guilty, and the prosecutor, testifying his non- innocence. The victims also came forward when they were allowed to speak up. The man that went by the name, Sam, has apparently slaughtered 14 victims in the past, most of the victims were likely children around the ages of 9-17 years old. I found that to be utterly sickening, the poor lives taken away by this man, their life spam taken away senseless without any mercy given, I then found out that not only did he kill all those innocents, but also his wife. The man said that she would go and tell the cops, so he didn't have a choice and killed her mercilessly.

The judge sentenced him to life in prison, and the case was closed, except for the formula, before it was too late, I asked him again for the formula and his response?

... "It was taken away" said the man helplessly.

"So, you really don't have a clue to where the formula is? It was right in your pocket when you stole it! I can't believe this man! This poor excuse for a thug like you is unbelievable! Do you at least have any idea who might've taken it?" I replied with anger and exaggeration filled in my tone.

"Yes, I think I might. It's this French woman named, Kali. Right when we were both about to run away, I was tripped and saw that she was gone. I looked over to the bag where the formula was hidden inside and found nothing. Nothing. Then, after that, I looked everywhere for her, but I couldn't find her and when I came home after a long day of searching, I found the cops to be right in front of me. There, happy?" Said the man with sarcasm and anger.

"Alright, sir. We'll now escort you to your prison cell, follow us, and no questions are to be asked, got that? Replied one of the cops.

"Sure. But you better tell me when you find her cause I'll be having the best conversation with her, got that? Said Sam with a concerning look of disapproval turned to me. The man deeply deserved that anyway.

Now, there was a new case to be solved, the case of Kali, the French woman.
