Chapter 15- Ended up in the forest

I wake up to a lingering smell of pie, which made me even more hungry than I already am. I look around my surroundings to find a blur of green, huh. Well, it seems that my beautiful vision has returned to me, honestly seeing those colors was really too irritating for my brain to handle, but it seems I'm in a forest with no one around.

Since I couldn't figure out a solution for this scenario, I just decided on going with practically the only option I've got left. Walking to where the smell is. The beautiful aroma of muffin filling up the entire forest is enough to have me drool a water fountain right now. Okay, well I could just look around to see what my surroundings are besides trees and all that, but really, who needs that when there could be a whole feast god knows where, so I've made up my mind, might as well-

I turned around hearing something rustle in the bushes, which is usually never a good sign.

I shouted with my amazing scared cracked voice, "who's there!, show yourself!".
Right when I said that, there was a weird creature lurking around the area going from behind the trees, and out to the bushes. I hadn't really caught a glimpse of it, but I knew it was trouble, and I hate when I sense trouble in my guts.

A small little rabbit, just a baby rabbit came out of the bushes and started running like it's a marathon. Phew, okay at least I know I'm probably not getting eaten right here.

A growl then came out of no where and I was face to face with a wolf. Guess luck isn't by my side today, huh? Cause then I saw two others rising from the lake behind me, wait- what!?

They stormed towards me in a way where you'd think they were teleporting, and the strange thing about these wolfs wasn't how they rose from the lake somehow (it's actually way worse then you can imagine) but it's how they look like they're made out of water. Lost and confused, I trembled in the worst way possible, I felt like I was going to lose consciousness because of the fear growing inside me more and more. So, I ran as fast as I ever could.

I was panting severely, I couldn't even remember how to breathe! The wolves were racing towards me getting closer each time, and it didn't help that they looked real bloodthirsty! Like they haven't ate since forever!

I screamed, "help! Somebody, please!". It felt like I was going to collapse.

The sun was starting to set while I was still running for my life, just imagine being in my shoes running for almost 4-5 hours long, it's the worst tiring feeling you could ever get.

Eventually though, they gave up on tracking me down. I remember a warning sign in the lake mentioning, WARNING, DO NOT APPROACH NEAR THE LAKE AT ANY COSTS. I can only assume this is what the sign meant, if only I was more cautious with that, then I most likely wouldn't be in this situation.

I remember the smell of muffins of when I first woke up, the sweet aroma filling the air, oh how I wish I could have some right now, but I guess all I can do now is just sit and wait for at least some kind of help to come my way. How unfortunate, I might as well go to sleep.

Right as I was about pass out from exhaustion, of course something had to get me back up on my track, and luckily for me this time, I found a trail that could help lead me back; somewhere.

I felt chirping from crickets, and bugs buzzing of where I am currently. Well, it's a forest after all, but I need to get home, or get some sleep.. wait, NO. Not happening! There's howling coming from the mountains, and that is exactly where I am near at this point! Those wolves could sniff me from a mile away! No need to sleep, I am not getting munched on for dinner, nope! Not planning on it!

I decided on getting back up and following the trail even though it could be risky; it's better than getting eaten though.

I wonder where I'll end up

I wonder where.
