Chapter 18- LateFalling asleep before the subway arriving isn't exactly the thing I had in mind to start off my morning, but here I am.
I look around to find that my surroundings are still the same, which is bad.
I rush over to some of the people waiting for their ride, and hurriedly asked them if they saw a subway go by. To which it was a yes. It was then that a much worse panic was starting to spread all over me since I missed my only ride to Massachusetts, which is now off-limits til' tomorrow. Tomorrow, great isn't it? A small visit to my cousin, only to be wasted by me losing consciousness, that's a horrible thing to do..
Of course, as any sane person would do, I just gave up and headed back home, which is a whopping 30-45 minutes away, meaning, I have to take the bus with snobs and smelly people hanging onto the poles like their life depends on it, also the being squeezed part drives me nuts..
"Hello there, sir! Would you be interested in the following news as of today?", says a man with long dark hair , a long brown beard, dark blue eyes, and colorful clothing. A "hippie", great.
"Oh, no I'm good. But thanks for the offering!", I kindly reply back.
The hippie just shrugs it off, and instead of walking away to buzz some other people, he says, "Well, here then", he says, giving me a sheet of paper. What for?
"Listen, there's a ceremony on Thursday, 6:40 p.m, so if you ever come, then you're more than welcome, pal. I wish you an awesome day, man", he says with a cheesy grin plastered on his face.
Then he turns around to take his leave after saying those final words. I look at the paper in my hand and look at the scribbled handwriting that I can't read..
Well, he already gave me enough of the information, still, I'm not going there.
I notice that there were more "hippies" walking around doing the exact same thing.
Well, if I'm bored enough, then I might as well go for the fun of it, wouldn't hurt doing so, right?
No, wrong. So wrong.
Cliffhanger:)
