Two days had just passed by, Mac lived his normal life without getting interrupted by any weird or crazy person in this town. And today, he once again paid a visit to his mother's grave. Usually, he will only go there on the weekend but today he finished his job earlier and decided to see his mother. Mac was so excited because today he would have so much time to sit and talk to her.
For certain people, they will say it was a stupid thing to talk to yourself. But for Mac, he cares for nothing. He had enough of the people inside the town. And his dark past can't be easily erased or replaced by anything. Those painful memories, those deep scars, he will be carrying them through his life and no one will know about it.
"You know, there is a guy who I just met. He's kinda weird, heh... Mama, I missed you."
Mac was enjoying himself sharing about his day when a guy was eyeing him from a distance. A guy with a black hoodie, the hands inside his pocket watching the latter just like a predator. He didn't want to disturb him so he just waited for the right time. Mac sat there for half an hour before saying goodbye and said he would be visiting her again. Since he was the only one at home, Mac thought that maybe he just stayed inside.
"Hey." A familiar voice greeted Mac knowing it would be too sudden to meet him again.
Mac slowly turned to the side towards the voice who greeted him. He was surprised at the same time to see the guy whom he had never expected to meet again. A sudden thought crosses behind his head.
"You almost gave me a heart attack! What are you doing here? Did you fall asleep behind that tree again?" Mac asked making fun of him.
"No." Nan replied as he took off his mask.
"And..? Why are you following me?"
"Who says that I followed you?"
"Well, you are-"
"I lived in here."
"Oh, really?" Mac muttered to himself as he wasn't sure whether to believe Nan at this point. "I didn't know that there was a town in this area... Anyway, are you okay? How about your allergy?"
"I'm fine."
"That's good. If not I don't think I have any strength to carry you again."
Nan let out his chuckle as he heard Mac not hesitate to blurt out his thought. He knew that it might be tough for Mac since he looked a little bit tiny and shorter.
"Umm... I'm sorry for the last time, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Mac, it's good to see you again Nan." Mac spoke as he hung his hand in the air.
"It's good to see you again, Mac." Nan replied before he grabbed Mac's hand and did the handshake.
Nan was quite surprised doing the skin contact. It was the first time for him to feel the warmth of a human's hand. He doesn't give any strange reaction but only stares into the latter. He had never experienced any kind of warm thing before.
"Your hand is so cold." Mac spoke after pulling his hand away. It was true that Nan's hand did feel like ice.
"Yeah, my hand is always like this. It's weird, is it?."
"No, don't say that. It's not that weird..." Mac assured him as he didn't want Nan to feel bad about himself.
"Mac." Nan called his name.
"Yes?" Mac looked up for the latter as he waited for him to say something.
"Do you want anything?"
"Huh?" Mac blinked his eyes, he was a bit confused looking for the answer.
