After a couple of weeks of staying on the other side of the world, Mac can finally go home. He was over the moon when the doctor declared his off-treatment. Never in his life, had he felt so relaxed after hearing such news. Now he can see his house, his best friend, the horses, the cows, and coco, and for sure, he can rest his back since he has been wrecking them for good.

"So, how was it? Did you two do it? How many rounds? Indoor or outdoor?"

"I'm not here for that."

"Hey, Mac"

"You better stop asking me the same question."

"But I'm your friend!"

"Yeah, a nosy one." He glanced over at the guy before chunking a whole glass of plain water.

"You're no fun." Dew's said, taking a seat on the couch. "Besides, you left for a trip without saying anything. We could at least meet up and say bye to each other, but I guess not."

Mac was silent. He felt guilty for not telling him anything beforehand. Dew is right, and as a friend, he should have informed him, or perhaps he could have made an excuse to hide his true purpose of disappearing. He should not just left without words.

"Anyway, did your dad know that you and him were together?"

"Well– technically, no. Not yet."

"Damn..."

"Enough with the drama. Let's go, my dad must be waiting outside." The three of them were having a barbecue for dinner with a fluff of burnt potato as the special guest of the night.

It has been six months since Mac left the palace. Mac never thought he would miss the waterfall that much. It was very unusual and unique to have such a view. After all, he wasn't part of their world. He doesn't belong to that place. But now everything is back to normal, with his dad here, Dew, his best buddy, and the tiny house he treasures the most.

"We had an agreement, Coco. And you have only one job. Do Not Eat My Plants. If I saw you're eating my beautiful babies again, I'd be feeding you a cucumber. Understood?" Mac pointed his hand towards the innocent-looking face. To be fair, his cat just had dinner, and apparently, it was not enough.

Meow~ The cat replied.

"You better be," Mac said, hanging a towel on his shoulder as he walked towards the bathroom.

He was having a peaceful shower, washing off the smell after having a barbecue when he suddenly heard something heavy drop on the floor. He thought his cat was making a scene again, so he hurriedly cleaned himself, wrapping the towel around his waist, and stepped out from the door.

"Coco, what did I tell you–"

His words got cut off in the mid-sentence when his eyes captured a tall, slender-built man standing before him, wearing a long leather jacket. A black mask made of iron covered half of his face, hiding his identity. His hair is pulled into a ponytail, with a few thin strands of hair falling on his forehead.

"Mac" The man called for him.

The latter's voice is strangely making his heartbeat increase. He sounds familiar to him. Is he...?

"Nan?" Mac uttered, his voice a little shaky. "Is this you?"

The latter's eyes softened as he nodded, acknowledging his name. Mac, on the other hand, seemed to be overwhelmed by his presence. He let out a relieved sigh, trying to hold back himself from bursting into tears.

"Come here."

These two words connected these two souls, just a simple request to embrace one another, yet it means everything to both of them.
