"I have my interview today." Jasper spoke quietly as we ate pancakes the next morning. Evelyn was getting used to her new home as she sat in her high chair, she squealed as her daddy talked.

"She's such a daddy's girl." I grinned and fed her another piece of pancake, cut up tiny so she wouldn't choke.

"I love it, so much." I could hear the grin in his voice as he spoke lovingly about his little girl.

"So what time do you have to leave?" I asked, turning back to him as Evelyn chirped next to me.

"I want us to leave in about one hour." He smiled a little as I rolled me eyes.

"Why are Evie and I going?" I asked, glaring at my fluffy breakfast.

"The world needs to see how blessed I am, there's no better opportunity really! You have to come on with me!" He was throwing his hands around wildly and how could i say no to his adorable excitement?

"You think its a good idea for me to come out with you?" I asked, doubting him a bit as Evie drank the milk from the little cup on her tray.

"If I didn't think it was a good idea then I wouldn't invite you." He rolled his eyes and sassily whipped his head. I couldn't help but laugh at his goofy attitude. Evelyn was laughing next to me and was reaching toward him.

Jasper pulled her up and started going into her room but I stood up after him sweeping her from his arms.

"If our daughter is going on national television, then she's not being dressed by you." I laughed at his sad puppy look and he followed me into the hallway.

"But Poppy, I'm good with her outfits." He frowned and pushed his bottom lip out in a pout.

"Jazz, maybe another time." I smiled easily and walked past him to the room that was supposed to be Evelyn's. The only thing in the room was the cardboard boxes with her name marked across the side.

I dug around until I found a romper, that by some god send, hadn't been wrinkled. It was floral print with little ruffles across it.

The romper fit her perfectly and she had just enough hair to pull into a little ponytail that looked like a palm tree sprouting out of her little head. I placed a red bow across the ponytail and couldn't help but let my heart grow a little at how cute she was.

"My little love, you are too cute." I picked her up gently and headed into Jaspers room which I was staying in because I didn't want to let the loneliness creep up on me again.

"I could've done that, isn't that a one piece?" Jasper asked, holding his hands out so I could change out of pajamas.

I pulled on a romper for myself but mine was a gentle cream color and it was solid fabric, not lace or ruffled.

He followed me into the bathroom as I started to curl my hair gently, I didn't want to look like a bum but I also didn't like to look like I spent all day working on my appearance.

Jasper kept a mindless conversation going as Evelyn crawled around and pulled herself by holding onto the tub. Jasper hovered nervously as she swayed and plopped back onto her butt. he was quick to pick her up again and I laughed quietly to myself as I realized he was going to be a helicopter dad.

When I was finished I grabbed Evelyn and pulled out the travel stroller and quickly strapped her in.

"Can I push her?" Jazz asked, already pulling the stroller from my grip.

"Sure, she's all yours." I said with a laugh as we made our way down the hallway and towards the elevator.

Jasper nodded and smiled to everyone as we made our way to the street where the car was waiting for us. He unfolded the stroller and I buckled Evelyn into the car seat that was the same one from the airport.
