Appearance/Info

He has a ghostly white face, lifeless black eyes with white pupils, and white hair almost as pale as his face. He wears a black beanie and a belt on his waist that has syringes and medical tools on it. His shirt is purple and the right sleeve is ripped off.

His story begins with a girl sitting on the train when the lights go out. A man gets on and sits on the opposite side of her, slowly creeping closer when she isn't looking. As she gets to her stop and goes to get off the train, she turns to see he was right behind her. She goes home and walks to her apartment, freaking out when she begins to hear footsteps approaching. It ends up just being her neighbor, a nice old lady the protagonist knows pretty well. The neighbor asks if she has been sleepwalking too, but the protagonist says she hasn't.

Protag walks into her apartment and her best friend calls. They talk for awhile but suddenly her best friend hears someone ring her doorbell, so she has to go. The protag gets up looking for a broom and finds a letter on her welcome mat. The letter says to open the door. She looks outside using the peephole but she sees nothing but black. She figures it's probably just a cover over the hole. She opens the door (are you serious) and finds two gold rings with diamonds in them, as well as a smartphone. She goes back into her apartment smiling, feeling happy at the thought that someone likes her.

She's shaken out of this upon hearing a loud crash in the kitchen. She hears footsteps after the crash and when she goes to look (again, are you SERIOUS), she finds that a bunch of forks fell. She grabs a vase in fear as she realizes someone may have broken in since she forgot to lock her door. She exits her apartment and finds another box on the floor of the entrance. She grabs it and runs, knocking frantically on her sleepwalking neighbor's door. The door is slightly open so she goes in and finds her neighbor's diary. She begins to read about how the neighbor has repeated dreams of a man who appears to leave gifts that aren't for her before disappearing. She describes his appearance in detail, and the protagonist stops reading when she hears breathing behind her. She turns to look but sees no one, turning back around only to be grabbed by her neighbor. She has small syringes in her eyes and she says "He is here." before falling dead.

The protag runs out but on the way, she bumps into Nick. He leans closer to her and asks if she's scared, smiling a little. He then lifted her by the hair and slung her into a wardrobe. He says aloud that it was rude of him to not introduce himself as if he didn't just fully slam a girl into a wardrobe and kill an elderly woman. He tells her his name and she passes out.

She wakes up to find the police are accusing her of murdering her neighbor, amongst other things. Her fingerprints and hair were found at the scene of multiple crimes. The phones and jewelry of the victims were stolen and stashed in the neighbor's house. Since the neighbor was dead and the protag was found at the scene, she was accused. She tries to explain it was the man her neighbor described in her diary but the police said those were just dreams, not believing he was real at all.

All I gotta say after reading that, is B R U H. - Brinlee

Traits

Overall his personality seems relaxed and nonchalant. Even when expressing hostility he's smiling and talking in a calm manner. He's a bit of a stalker and appears to have mastered stealth to the point that it seems supernatural.

Motive

Unknown. Just bein' a fucker, I guess.

Yeah, he just killed an old woman cause he's in a silly goofy mood. For sure. - Brinlee

Method

In his story he stashes stolen valuables in someone's house, but I don't know if he does this every time he chooses a target. Then he stabbed a lady through the eyes with his syringes and framed an innocent woman.

Weapon(s)

He has a belt with needles and medical tools on it.

Theories

He seems very phantom-like. On the train he kept getting closer when the protag looked away, and the lights in the train went off before she even noticed him. He moves in complete silence other than when he dropped a bunch of forks, but I think he prooooobably did that on purpose. His level of skill and his appearance are too otherworldly for me to consider him as just a human. (I know his appearance has a whole backstory on a creepypasta wiki page, but I have no way of confirming that it came from the creator, so I'm not comfortable considering it canon. I only consider the story I linked below as canon.)

I'm curious as to why the protag's mom was in the hospital as it's mentioned she had come back from seeing her right before the beginning of the story. Nick had been storing things in the neighbor's home for a long time, leading me to believe that protag was a target for much longer than she realized. He had also planted her DNA at several other crime scenes, so he must have been around her multiple times without her noticing. Because of this, I find it plausible to assume that Nick had something to do with why her mother was in the hospital. Maybe he needed her alone to make his move.

Oh yeah, I can see him isolating the victim just to pin the crime on her cause it'd be easier. It makes sense in my head to be totally honest. I mean, if the mom was there, I feel like it'd be more of a hassle to pin the crime. So, I agree with Ark's theory. Maybe he used his needles to make the mom sick, or planted an object that was poisoned in front of the front door so that she could pick it up. I've heard stories of people placing poisonous items in front of people's cars just so that they'd pick it up. I wouldn't put it past him, since he killed a whole ass old lady lmfao. I might have stretched my theory but that's just what I'm thinking when it comes to the story. - Brinlee
