Nina was remade to no longer be an annoying fangirl, and though her remake wasn't published in English, I'll link a google doc at the bottom of the chapter (on Quotev) where I translated it. (I'm using Google translate because I took French in junior high and high school, not Spanish.)

If anyone who speaks Spanish wants to do a better translation, please message me!

Appearance/Info

Not much background info on her exists other than that she was born on Halloween. You can see her appearance above, the photo was drawn by her creator. One of her eyelids was burned to remain open like Jeff's and she wears an eyepatch over this eye. She also had her cheeks split open like his, but these have since scarred over. She received these injuries when he attacked her, they aren't self inflicted.

Nina and her family, originally from London, go to Mexico on vacation. The area they go to is under strict curfew due to a serial killer (Jeff) on the loose, and they're initially refused entrance to the park they planned to stay in, but they pay the park ranger to leave them be. Jeff appears and begins slaughtering Nina's parents prompting her and her brother to run to the camp entrance to escape. As they escape, her brother tells her it's Jeff the Killer. Both of them recognized him due to having read his creepypasta, but they of course thought he was fictional until they saw him.

As they ran, Nina noticed that black, dead trees had appeared at the entrance, branches growing into spikes as she neared. With the branch spikes preventing their escape, Nina and her brother fled a different way. She fell and hurt her ankle, yelling at her brother to go on without her. Suddenly though, Jeff appeared in front of her brother and killed him. When he finished with her brother he moved on to her. He was in the middle of stabbing Nina when he was chased off by the arrival of the park patrol. Her mother and brother were already dead and her father bled to death on the way to the hospital, leaving Nina as the sole survivor. She had been stabbed in the liver but recovered quickly due to proper medical care.

In the hospital she was questioned by a detective. She told him everything she could remember, including the fact that Jeff was a creepypasta. The detective didn't really buy into that of course, nor did he buy into the description of Jeff having no eyelids, but whatever. Nina ends up having a panic attack which cuts the detective's visit short.

Later in the night, Jeff comes back for her and says he doesn't want to kill her. He says she's interesting and that they'll be friends forever, leaving after he mutilates her and writes a message on the wall in blood. His message was "Go to sleep", obviously.

After this, Nina was sent to an orphanage that she escaped from after a month. She went on to try to hunt down Jeff, finding out that he inhabits another plane of existence that she's mostly unable to reach. If she wants to be able to fully reach it, she has to disappear from her world. To do this, she hacks into various records and deletes herself entirely. She changes her family's names, her own name, etc. Then, she kills everyone who knows her, including the detective who questioned her. She says she doesn't care about the morality of her actions, her only goal is to kill Jeff, which she'll do anything to accomplish. She leaves the detective's home after killing him, and that's where the story ends.

Traits

What she was like before being attacked by Jeff is unknown other than that she liked the story of Jeff the Killer. Needless to say, she's no longer a fan of Jeff. She absolutely hates him.

After his attack she's very clearly traumatized, and her behavior can be described as moody and a bit aggressive. She's snappy when talking and she has an understandably hard time recounting specific events. She seems to harbor guilt for her family's demise and is willing to do anything to get revenge. She even goes so far as to kill an innocent in order to gain access to the realm Jeff inhabits. She doesn't appear to feel very bad about this fact, so I'd classify her as an antihero. She isn't morally bankrupt but she's definitely morally questionable.

Motive

Revenge.

Method

Weird black spikes like the ones that blocked her exit during Jeff's attack do the killing for her. She pulls out a gun to shoot the detective, but she doesn't do it herself. Instead, the spikes turn to hands and use the gun to shoot him for her. At least I think that's what happened? The translation is really hard to understand.

Weapon(s)

A gun and the mysterious black spikes.

Theories

I think it's possible that the weird black spikes are an ability granted to any who have access to the weird dimension Jeff inhabits. Whether the people who have this ability can give it to others is unknown, but if they can, maybe Jeff gave it to Nina. He didn't kill her on purpose (the second time he encountered her) so maybe he wants her to try to kill him. He sees it as a fun challenge, so he gave her the ability to even the playing ground. Or, Slenderman gave both of them this ability. Maybe he sees Jeff as a liability so he gave Nina the ability to use the spikes so she could take him out for him. Sure, he could just kill Jeff himself, but maybe he just doesn't want to waste the energy. Or maybe he wants to test Nina/have her prove her worth. Idk I'm making shit up. It's also possible she got them by herself upon first arriving in the other dimension. She apparently couldn't access it consistently because she needed to erase herself completely from the normal world, but maybe she could access it sporadically. This story is so hard to theorize on due to the shitty translation, sorry.

Jeff is a known creepypasta in this story, his story was said to have been written by some random guy who actually remembered the murder of Jeff's family. But Nina said in order to access the realm Jeff lives in, you have to disappear completely from the real world. If that's the case, Jeff shouldn't be able to inhabit the realm he lives in since someone who remembers him has written down his story. Maybe if the guy didn't know Jeff in person and only remembered the story from a newspaper or something, then that would make sense. But it seems like a plot hole to me. Or maybe since Jeff is portrayed as fictional in the story, that's why he can inhabit the other realm. Still though, the story creator knows he was real and he used Jeff and his family's real names. You can decide if it's a loophole or a plot hole. Personally, I think it's probably a plot hole.

I know it's possible that Nina remembering Jeff since he spared her is a plot hole, but I'm gonna give this one a pass. She didn't know him when he was human and maybe that's what counts. You can't be remembered as a human, but once you've gained abilities from the other realm or an inhabitant of the other realm, then you can let people remember you. You can only be remembered as a monster, not a human. I don't know if that made sense, it's hard to explain. ):

With the story insinuating jeff is "otherworldly" n shit, i'm placing my bets on being a creepypasta somehow turns you into something a human can't comprehend. Like, somehow you actually are some kind of monster/remembered as a monster. That's so weird. I wonder if this other realm grants you the ability to mess with the human world. Almost as if you get the upper-hand? Cause those mysterious black spikes appeared outta nowhere. I wonder if CPs have more control somehow in that story. Either way, strange. - Brinlee
