I have a few more things to rant about but I'll also be using this chapter as a way of introducing a new addition to my future chapters. I know I talk/type a lot and over-explain things wayyyyy too much so I'm gonna begin doing TLDR sections at the end. For those who don't know, TLDR means 'too long, didn't read' and is essentially just a brief summary of whatever was being said. I always put TLDR in bold italics so you can scroll down and find them quickly. I'll do a couple TLDR in this chapter since I know I'm gonna be yapping a lot. YOU'RE WELCOME. ):<

Chapter contents: (This is a new format I'm gonna try out for chapters where I do a lot of chatting, but also have important info/questions to get across. You can skip the stuff you don't care about and get to the parts you want to see. I might ditch the format entirely idk, I'm indecisive.)

Section 1. I need your advice on how to structure tiny chapters for series that are very short. I ask everyone who sees this to please, at the very least, read and respond to section 1. You can feel free to skip over everything else in this chapter but section 1 is important to how I decide to go forward with the Slender series rough draft.

Section 2. For dyslexic readers and non-native English speakers. I didn't mean for that to rhyme but it kinda went hard.

Section 3. Cross-posting my works.

Section 4. Suggestion box.

Section 5. My other books.

SECTION 1

Some Slender series are tiny, I've seen at least one that only has one video. What the hell am I supposed to do with that? It just doesn't seem like it justifies an entire chapter, but I also don't want to skip any. This is where I need your input. Tell me which option you'd prefer.

1. Combine all the mini-chapters into one big one.

2. Cover them in their own chapter but put in the title that it's a mini-chapter.

3. Don't cover them at all. Just mention that they're so short they don't justify a chapter.

If you have an idea aside from the ones listed, I'm all ears.

SECTION 2

Awhile ago I went through the book and changed Brinlee's commentary font from struck through text to underlined text. I did this because I was worried dyslexic people and non-native English speakers might have a harder time reading text that had a line through it. I thought about it some more recently and I've been wondering if the way I type is hard to understand, or if Brin's text being underlined is still too hard to read. I try not to use words that are too big in my writing because I hate reading shit that has a bunch of big words and academic jargon. I like to be able to understand what I read without needing to open Google every two seconds to look up a word. Even though I try to keep my words simple though, I do sort of worry there's a bigger issue I'm unaware of that's making it hard for some readers to comprehend everything. Maybe the TLDR feature will help but in the meantime, do any of you have trouble reading my writing? If so, what do you struggle with? I'll try to fix the issue immediately.

TLDR: If you struggle to read my books for any reason, please let me know so I can solve the issue and make my writing more accessible. Also feel free to comment if you don't understand something I said (in any of my chapters/books, not just this one) and I will clarify my meaning as best I can.

SECTION 3

I have already cross-posted this book but I speak English, and therefore my audience is limited to those who also speak English. If you speak another language and would like to cross-post my content to another platform, please let me know in the comments and I will be happy to work with you on that. DO NOT cross-post my content without permission, and do not cross-post it in English. I am only allowing cross-posting in other languages to expand the reach of my content. An English version exists already, there is no need for another one. Credit to me must be given in the beginning of each chapter. That might seem excessive to have it in every chapter but I do have a good reason. If credit to me is only posted in one chapter, there's a good chance someone could skip that chapter. It's common for people to only read about the creepypastas they're interested in rather than reading the whole book, so posting credit in every chapter will get rid of this issue. I put a lot of effort and time into this book and I want credit for that. The credit would look something like "Cross-posted from renoblivion on Quotev/Wattpad with permission from author", nothing too big.

TLDR: Do not cross-post my works without permission, and do not request to cross-post in English as an English version already exists right here. Ask if you'd like to cross-post in another language but credit must be given in each chapter's intro for reasons stated above.

SECTION 4

I just want to leave room for input from you. If you want me to cover any particular aspect of various Slender series that I didn't cover in my sneak peek, let me know.

SECTION 5

I have several books I'm choosing not to update until either someone requests one, or I have the time and energy to put into an update. Right now my primary focus is on the Slender series rough draft. Nevertheless I'll share all my current works and the status on whether or not I plan to update them.

Book of Apologies (Only available on Quotev)
Won't be updated until something I've done weighs on me heavily enough to make me want to get it out in writing.
This book is highly personal and contains a lot of mention of past traumas. But to me, personal doesn't mean private. Even though much of the content is dark and not fun to relive I think it's possible for some good to come from it- if not for me, then maybe for someone else. I hope my many admissions of guilt and wrongdoing are enough to convince someone else to deliver a long overdue apology they've been refusing to give out, be it to themselves or another individual they've hurt.

Big Sis Advice (Co-written with Brinlee, only available on Quotev)
I've been wanting to update but it's not something I'm willing to dedicate time to at the moment unless advice is requested. I would rather focus on the Slender series.
This book is really just for advice I wish I'd been given, or wish I could have given to my younger brothers before we were separated. It can be helpful to all ages but is aimed at younger audiences still learning and growing.

Comprehensive Witches Guide (Only available on Quotev)
Finished, don't really plan to update unless a particular topic is requested.
There's all kinds of research and stuff in here. Astrology, tarot, ancestor/spirit work, numerology, etc.
