I Will Survive

8 - Goodbye

George drove up to the massive metal gates and honked his horn. Kayleigh danced around in the back waving her gun around the place, not even caring what anyone would think.

Gabe stumbled down the path with Dylan holding one of his arms and Turner holding the other. Debra walked behind holding all of their bags. They were all sweaty and tired, the last thing they needed was for more people to enter Wellington.

George and Kayleigh saw the group walking up to the gates. So Kayleigh from the excitement of seeing new people ran in front of them.

"HELLO!" She shouted whilst still waving her arms around.

"Fuck off! Your not wanted here..." Turner said without thinking. He wanted to go inside and get rest after the long day.

"Um... Excuse me but we just arrived at WELLINGTON!" Kayleigh screamed as she hugged Turner "We can go and meet the famous man Turner together!" She then danced around them "I will help!" She was so excited that she picked Gabe up herself and ran towards the Wellington doors.

"I AM TURNER!" He then shouted as he chased after her.

3 days later

--

George, Kayleigh, Dylan, Debra and Turner all sat in the meeting room drinking coffee and discussed what they had been up to. Turner didn't really like Kayleigh but he thought George was fine.

"So where are you guys going?" Turner asked Gabe "The other day you said you were going to look for someone. You never said who though..."

"I'm going to go north. To find my sister" Gabe answered. "And I'm leaving tonight, I need to search for her. I need to apologise for everything that I put her through before this began. She left with mum and dad to the north, that was the last thing I heard from her." He stood up and walked off back to his room.

"Are you guys going with him?" Turner asked everyone else.

"I am, he saved me and I saved him I feel like we need to stand up for each other. Like brothers!" Dylan said whilst standing up, smiling and walking away. Debra followed.

"Well Gabe has been the only person that has made me feel at home here" Kayleigh said with a smirk on her face. "So I'm going to go, and so are you George!" She said tugging on George's arm.

"Fine!" George giggled as he got up with her.

"I'm sorry Turner but Wellington is nothing that I expected..." Kayleigh laughed as she ran off and dragging George behind her.

"Well, looks like I need to improve Wellington!" Turner laughed to himself as he left and went back to his office.

That night everyone was getting into in George's truck. George, Debra and Wayne sat at the front and Kayleigh, Gabe and Dylan sat in the back. Josh was crying because he could no longer play with Wayne.

"Bye bye WAYNE!" He shouted through his tears.

"Bye bye JOSH!" Wayne shouted back with a tear in his eye. Turner stood outside the gates and waved at the truck.

"Bye guys! I hope you find your sister Gabe!" He shouted.

"Thanks!" Gabe shouted back.

"Goodbye!" Everyone in the truck shouted at once as they reversed back and turned into the road.

"I hope they are prepared for anything that hits them..." Turner said to himself as he walked back into Wellington with Josh and closed the big doors.

So guys I hope you enjoyed this shorter chapter. This one is half as big as my others and that is mainly for the fact of finishing off section one. So here is going to be a small break as I write more for Arc 1!
