"KAYLEGH?!" George shouted as he stood up quickly from his office chair. Sweat was dripping down his face and it looked as if he had saw a dead body, which he did, in his dream.
--
Everyone was back in the truck and it was a new day. George was still scarred by his dream and he had explained it all to everyone except Wayne. Wayne said he had a nightmare last night but he didn't tell anyone about it.
"Well guys I have found out that this entire time we had been heading south... Not North..." Dylan said whilst holding a map that he had found in the gas station.
"WHAT?!" Gabe shouted.
"It's okay... We have been heading towards somewhere called Marion, there is an airport there. And with you being a pilot you could fly us somewhere up north. If you wouldn't mind that is..." Dylan replied happily. "Just follow this road down and you will get there within an hour."
"Marion, that's where me and Kayleigh are from" George spoke up. "Also, you up for that Gabe?"
"Huh, I would be more than happy to fly again. It would be the furthest we have ever been from these things!" Gabe smirked.
"Yay! MOMMY MOMMY!" Wayne shouted.
"What Wayne?" Debra laughed.
"WE WILL GO ON AN AEROPLANE! A REAL LIFE AEROPLANE!" He shouted whilst dancing around.
"Yes, yes we will!" Debra replied.
"I feel so happy..." Dylan said "I will get to spend time with you!"
"Yeah, we can finally have somewhere private to go..." Debra winked. Dylan smiled and relaxed back into his seat. Gabe stared at him and punched him lightly on the arm. Kayleigh looked at them confused and scratched her chin.
"Um, is there something I'm missing here?" She asked.
"No, no it's nothing" Dylan laughed back whilst Gabe glared.
"Oh, ok..." Kayleigh said awkwardly.
--
An hour later they all arrived at the Marion airport. It seemed deserted as there were no zombies in sight. They pulled up outside of one of the aircraft hangers and they all got out.
"Guys! We have to get this open!" Gabe shouted as he went up to the hanger door. "There is a few locks along the bottom, anyone got anything that can be used to open them?"
"I would smash them open but they look too thick" Debra said with a hammer in her hand.
"I could tickle them open!" Wayne said whilst tickling them. No one questioned it so they left him to it.
They all huddled together without Wayne and spoke about ways to open the massive steel door.
--
After hours of talking they got to no conclusions and it was getting late.
"We need to get to the main reception so we have somewhere to sleep" Gabe stated whilst they walked over.
"This was the same airport that we lost Mia..." Kayleigh whimpered as a tear dropped down her face.
"Yeah... I miss Mia..." George replied.
"I'm sure it would be better for her to be in heaven than to become one of these things though!" Dylan said, trying to cheer up the mood.
"Yeah, I guess..." Kayleigh and George said in sync.
--
Once everyone got down to the main reception they went in as one of the doors were unlocked. They wandered in and everything seemed to be untouched. There was a smell of cooking food, as if someone was living in here. Besides it looking abandoned outside it didn't on the inside.
"Hello?!" Gabe shouted.
"Who's there!" I young woman's voice shouted.
"We are a small group of people, we were looking for a plane to go and find my sister!" Gabe shouted back.
"Well getout otherwise I will have to kill you!" She yelled "If you dare come into the back room and steal my belongings I will kill you!" She repeated.
"We have a child!" George shouted. And then there was a brief period of silence.
"George?" She shouted quieter.
"Yes?" He replied "I love you"
