I Will Survive

12 - Problems

"George!" The young woman shouted as she ran out of the kitchen and hugged George tightly.

"Mia! I have missed you so much!" George said whilst hugging her. She was wearing the same clothes that she was wearing in the dream, the same bow, cardigan and skirt. Kayleigh's eyes glowed in excitement and joined the group hug.

"Mia! You helped us so much! We thought we had lost you..." Kayleigh mumbled into Mia's shoulder.

"Well it's a long story... A very long story..." She said whilst letting go. "Come on into the kitchen and sit down, do any of you drink tea?" Everyone replied yes in unison, "Okay, everyone sit around, time for a story..."

"George is it time to take our relationship to the next step?" Mia asked casually as she held his shirt in her hand.

"But we are in a bus!" George smiled "Walkers could come at any time! And don't you think 24 is a bit young?" He laughed again.

"Well if Kayleigh said she lost her virginity when she was 23, which was only a year ago and we are both 24, which means we are older than when she lost hers. It's okay, right?" Mia smiled.

"Yeah I guess..." George smirked as he passionately kissed her soft lips. He held her close and undid his zipper, releasing his hard goodness that lay inside

"Mia! George! We have a problem!" Kayleigh shouted as she ran down the road towards the bus. "A horde is coming!"

"Oh shit!" George whispered as he quickly did up his kipper again "sorry Mia, better pack up the sausage.." He laughed.

"What were you guys doing? Actually I don't want to know..." Kayleigh said whilst entering the bus. "We need to get this thing started. Now!" She ran to the front and turned the keys, it's engine turned on "THANK FUCKING GOD SOMETHING WORKS AROUND HERE!" She then shouted whilst sitting down and slamming down on the pedal. "We need to get to the airport fast!"

"So we can get our truck from there?" George asked.

"Yeah, we left it there didn't we, thank god it is only a 5 minute drive!" Kayleigh shouted as she charged down the road.

The bus swung around the corners and attempted to escape the horde that was hunting them down. They eventually reached the airport and they ran to their truck.

"Okay we need to get the supplies off this thing and get that aircraft hanger opened up!" George shouted to Mia and Kayleigh. Mia started to unload the truck as Kayleigh tried to prize open the locks, but they were stuck.

"Mia come and help me! Quick!" Kayleigh yelled, hoping Mia would be quick. She ran over and tried to undo the other locks.

"Damn they are stuck really tight!" Mia confessed. The horde then walked around the side of the hanger and made their way towards Kayleigh and Mia.

"Guys I'm coming!" George shouting whilst revving up the trucks engine and driving over to them, knocking a few walkers over whilst doing so. "Get in!" George then shouted whilst opening the door that was on their side. Kayleigh jumped in and held her hand out for Mia, but she wasn't there.

"Mia?!" Kayleigh shouted but there was no reply. The walkers then tried to climb into the truck and started to wreck all of their belongings. "Drive! Quick!" She said quickly whilst slamming the door shut and putting her belt on.

"I was confronted by the mass group of walkers so I had to make a quick escape into this main reception. And so far it has served a great place for protection from anyone and anything that could hurt me." Mia finished as the sipped the last drop of tea and laid back. "I was so upset when I thought I had left you guys. The last 2 months without you guys has seemed a lot longer than it actually is. I am happy you came back to see if I was here..."

"We actually didn't come back here for-" Dylan got cut off as Gabe interrupted

"Yeah these two told us about you so we thought we should pay a visit and try to open that hangar, as I am a pilot!" Gabe said proudly.

"Well I am Gabe, this here is Dylan. Over there is his girlfriend Debra and her son Wayne!" He grinned as he held out his hand, which Mia shook and smiled back at him.

"It's nice to not be alone..." Mia confessed.

"It sure is!" Gabe smiled back at her. Everyone then went outside and brought their stuff out of the truck and put it into their rooms which Mia had assigned to them. Gabe and Kayleigh got main office. Dylan, Debra and Wayne got the staff meeting room and Mia and George got the kitchen and waiting room.

Everyone eventually fell asleep after having their first warm drink and biscuit in a long time, and everyone slept well and had relaxing dreams, except of Kayleigh.

Kayleigh dreamt about the first day of the apocalypse and it was her moms birthday.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Kayleigh, her dad, her brother George and her little sister Hannah shouted in unison.

"You didn't have to!" Her mum smiled. She then ripped open a card at the same time something slammed against the door.

"I will go and get it!" Hannah shouted as the 13 year old girl strolled open to see who it was. She then screamed as a groaning sound engulfed her and then a gurgle sound. Her mum the ran over to see what was going on. She saw a monster biting into Hannah's neck and ripping the flesh off it. Blood gurgled in her sisters mouth and her eyes were colourless. The monster then looked up at her mum and bit into her arm. It wouldn't let go until her arm flung off and she fell to the floor.

Tears started to build up in Kayleigh's 20 year old eyes as she watched the flesh and blood squirt from her moms arm. The scream was piercing before her mom passed out and stopped breathing. George couldn't believe what was going on so he grabbed his un-identical twin Kayleigh and his dad and pulled them outside into the back garden.

Her dad was in tears and George almost was as well. They all grouped together and hugged until a walker came out of nowhere and clawed down their dads back.

"DAD NO!" George and Kayleigh shouted together after their long silence of pain and guilt.

"We need to get out of here! NOW!" George shouted as he pulled Kayleigh into their neighbours garden and they hid inside the shed. "This should do, for now..."
