BENITO's POV

(Next day)

Yesterday I made it extremely clear that I didn't want Love when my friends came.

I felt a little bit bad when I saw the face she made when I told her I'd rather not have her there. She looked hurt.

Yesterday was also the most we spoke without breaking out into a complete argument. I hate to admit it but she isn't that bad of a person to have a conversation with.

I shook off the thought of Love and instead placed a bowl of snacks on the table outside, I was finally finished setting up for my friends' arrival.

I sat outside and put on music in the meanwhile.

I looked at the time, 3:30. They were supposed to get here by 4:00 so they would be here any minute now.

"Hey Benito I'm leaving."

I looked over to the sliding door where Natalia stood with her backpack just like yesterday.

I furrowed my eyebrows at her, "where are you going?"

"Still to work on the project and before you ask, no Love isn't coming along."

I sighed in frustration, "when's this project due cause I don't want to be alone with that girl any longer."

"Be nice, plus this is probably the last time I'll go over to work on the project, it's due on Tuesday."

"Fine, just don't take long."

"I'll take as long as I need."

With that she left.

I'm just hoping Love keeps her promise of not coming down here.
