LOVE's POV

(next day)

Yeah just as I thought, it was all a fever dream.

I can't believe I actually thought I had a crush on him, yeah right. I would much rather throw myself in a pit of acid than have a crush on him.

I had gone on a morning walk, I already did my morning routine. My skincare, shower, daily affirmations, etc.

I walked into Natalia's room.

"Hey, you ready to go to school?"

In all honesty I didn't want to go to school but it was better than staying here and make myself think I had any type of feelings for that thing.

"Uh, not really but I guess let's go."

_______

we were sitting at our normal lunch table, right across from where the football team usually sat.

I noticed Raúl walk towards me.

I'm not sure if I liked him romantically, he was nice to be around. I liked the attention he gave me but I just don't know if I could ever like him romantically. He wasn't the usual type I would go for.

"hey, can I sit?"

I nodded and motioned for him to sit down in front of me.

He looked at me as he sat down, "what are you doing later?"

I used my fork to play with the nasty mashed potatoes on my lunch tray as I looked at him.

"Probably homework."

He fake yawned earning a small laugh from me.

"We should go see a movie or something."

I put my fork down and looked at him, "Don't you have football practice later?"

"Yeah, but we can go after."

It wouldn't be bad for me to go out with him to see a movie, I hadn't had a "date" in so long.

I wasn't really sure if I was excited to go on this date though, I'd much rather stay home and do stupid things with Natalia but yet again it would be rude of me to just turn him down for no good reason.

"yeah I'll think about it. I think I have you on Instagram, so I'll text you to let you know."

He smiled at me, "alright I'll be waiting for that text."

He got up and shot me a flirty smile before leaving.

I smiled as he walked away.

Across from the table Benito had a tight grip on a glass water bottle he was holding, his jaw was clenched. He was looking at the rest of his friends, so I'm wondering if his friends made him angry. Not that I care anyway.

But if he keeps gripping the water bottle like that, it'll break sooner than later.

I looked away from him and turned back to the conversation my friends were having.

I think I was going to say yes to Raúl, I needed to get out of that house anyway. This date would do me good.
